Safety Warnings and General Notes

  • ⚠️ Follow the information on the warning labels on the upper bunk bed structure and on the carton. Do not remove warning labels from the bed.
  • ⚠️ To help prevent serious or fatal injuries from entrapment or falls:
    • Never allow a child under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
    • Use only a mattress which is 74" - 75" long and 52 1/2" - 53 1/2" wide on the upper bunk.
    • Use only a mattress which is 74" - 75" long and 52 1/2" - 53 1/2" wide on the lower bunk.
    • Ensure thickness of mattress and foundation combined does not exceed 9" and the mattress is at least 5" below the upper edge of the guardrails.
    • Use guardrails on both sides of the upper bunk.
    • Prohibit horseplay on or under the bed. Always prohibit jumping on the bed.
    • Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
    • Use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
    • ⚠️ STRANGULATION HAZARD - Never attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed, for example, but not limited to hooks, belts, and jump ropes.
  • ⚠️ Always use the recommended size mattress or mattress support, or both, to help prevent the likelihood of entrapment or falls.
  • The top surfaces of the mattress must be at least 5" below the upper edge of the guardrails.
  • ⚠️ Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed. Always prohibit jumping on the bed.
  • Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
  • ⚠️ Do not use substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer or dealer for replacement parts.
  • Use of a night-light may provide added safety for a child using the upper bunk.
  • If the bunk bed will be placed next to the wall, the guardrail that runs the full length of the bed should be placed against the wall to prevent entrapment between the bed and the wall.
  • Always use guardrails on both long sides of the upper bunk.
  • The use of a water or sleep floatation mattress is prohibited.
  • Keep these instructions for future reference.
  • We recommend assembling your bunk bed on the shipping carton to protect your floor or carpet. Be certain all staples are out of the box before beginning assembly on the shipping carton.

Assembly Steps

Step 01

Connect side rails (C6) to the main frame components (27, 35, 36). The diagram shows multiple C6 pieces being attached to larger frame sections. This step likely involves forming the basic structure of the bed frames.

Step 02

Connect side rails (C6) to posts (8, 9) using screws B5, B16, and G8. The diagram shows two posts (8, 9) with side rails (C6) being attached. Ensure correct orientation as shown.

Step 03

Step 04

Secure guardrail supports (C5) to the posts using brackets (D13) and screws (A5). The diagram shows brackets (D13) being attached to posts with screws (A5), and then guardrail supports (C5) are attached to these brackets.

Step 05

Step 06

Install bed slats (46) and support pieces (47) onto the frame using screws (A10) and space blocks (G4). The diagram shows multiple slats (46) being laid across the frame and secured, with support pieces (47) also attached.

Step 07

Assemble the upper bunk frame by connecting cross rails (11, 35, 36) to the posts (5) using screws G8+B16, G8+B7, and B5. The diagram shows the assembly of the upper bunk's main frame components.

Step 08

Step 09

Step 13: Option: LEFT

For the LEFT configuration, attach the ladder/stair unit components to the bunk bed structure using screws (A10) and components (C6, 32, 51). The diagram shows the left-side ladder/stair attachment.

Assembly Steps

Step 01
