1. Introduction

Welcome to the world of remote-controlled flight with your new Silverlit Sky Eye Helicopter. This 3-channel remote control helicopter is equipped with an integrated video camera and a sophisticated gyro system for enhanced stability, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts. It allows you to stream and record live footage directly to the handheld remote controller, saving videos and photos to an SD card (not included) for later download to your PC. Designed for indoor and outdoor flight in calm conditions, the Sky Eye offers an immersive flying and recording experience.

2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating your Silverlit Sky Eye Helicopter. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

• Adult Supervision: This product is recommended for ages 15 and up. Adult supervision is advised for younger users.
• Flight Environment: Operate the helicopter in open, clear areas, free from obstacles, people, and animals. Avoid flying near power lines, trees, or water.
• Weather Conditions: The helicopter is designed for indoor and outdoor flight in calm conditions only. Do not fly in strong winds, rain, or snow.
• Battery Safety:
  • Use only the specified batteries (8 AA for transmitter, built-in Li-Poly for helicopter).
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
  • Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.
  • Remove exhausted batteries promptly.
  • Do not short-circuit battery terminals.
  • Dispose of batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
• Rotor Blades: Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from the rotating rotor blades. Do not touch the helicopter while the blades are spinning.
• Impact: Avoid crashes and impacts. If the helicopter crashes, inspect it for damage before attempting to fly again.
• Heat: Do not expose the helicopter or transmitter to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

3. Package Contents

Upon opening the package, please ensure all the following items are present and in good condition:

• Silverlit Sky Eye Helicopter (1 unit)
• 2.4GHz Transmitter with integrated LCD screen (1 unit)
• USB Charging Cable (1 unit)
• Instruction Manual (this document)

Note: A Micro SD card is not included and must be purchased separately to record photos and videos.

4. Setup

4.1. Transmitter Battery Installation

The transmitter requires 8 AA batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the transmitter.
2. Open the battery cover.
3. Insert 8 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely.

4.2. Helicopter Charging

The helicopter has a built-in Li-Poly battery.

1. Ensure the helicopter's power switch is in the "OFF" position.
2. Connect the USB charging cable to the helicopter's charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
4. The charging indicator light on the USB cable or helicopter will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
5. Charging typically takes approximately 60-90 minutes.

4.3. Micro SD Card Insertion

A Micro SD card (not included) is required for recording photos and videos.

1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the helicopter (refer to the product diagram if available).
2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the correct orientation.
3. To remove, gently push the card in again until it springs out.

4.4. Pairing the Helicopter and Transmitter

Follow these steps to establish a connection between the helicopter and the transmitter:

1. Ensure both the helicopter and transmitter are fully charged.
2. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.
3. Turn on the transmitter by sliding the power switch to "ON". The power indicator light will illuminate.
4. Turn on the helicopter by sliding its power switch to "ON".
5. The helicopter's indicator light will blink, and the transmitter's screen may show a pairing status.
6. Move the left throttle stick (left joystick) on the transmitter fully up, then fully down.
7. The indicator lights on both the helicopter and transmitter should become solid, indicating successful pairing.
8. If pairing fails, turn off both devices and repeat the process.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Transmitter Controls Overview

The 2.4GHz transmitter provides precise control over the helicopter's flight and camera functions.

5.2. Basic Flight Operations

Ensure the helicopter is paired and placed on a flat, level surface before attempting flight.

• Take-off: Slowly push the left throttle stick upwards. The helicopter will ascend. Increase throttle gradually until it lifts off.
• Hovering: Adjust the throttle stick to maintain a stable altitude. Use the ST.TRIM buttons to correct any unwanted rotation.
• Forward/Backward Flight: Gently push the right stick forward to move forward, and pull it back to move backward.
• Turning: Use the left stick left or right to rotate the helicopter on its axis (yaw).
• Landing: Slowly pull the left throttle stick downwards. Reduce throttle gradually until the helicopter gently lands. Cut throttle completely once on the ground.

5.3. Camera and Video Functions

The Sky Eye helicopter features a real-time camera that streams video to your transmitter and records to an SD card.

• Real-time Video Streaming: Once the helicopter is powered on and paired, the live video feed from the helicopter's camera will automatically display on the transmitter's LCD screen.
• Taking Photos: Press the PHOTO button on the transmitter once to capture a still image. A confirmation icon or sound may indicate a successful capture.
• Recording Video: Press the VIDEO button on the transmitter once to start recording. Press it again to stop recording. A recording indicator (e.g., a red dot or timer) will typically appear on the transmitter screen during recording.
• Adjustable Camera Angle: The camera angle on the helicopter can be adjusted manually before flight to optimize your view.
• Downloading Media: To access recorded photos and videos, remove the Micro SD card from the helicopter and insert it into a compatible card reader connected to your computer. Alternatively, connect the helicopter directly to your computer using the supplied USB cable to download files.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the lifespan of your Silverlit Sky Eye Helicopter.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the helicopter and transmitter. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
• Storage: Store the helicopter and transmitter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care:
  • Remove batteries from the transmitter if it will not be used for an extended period.
  • Do not overcharge the helicopter's Li-Poly battery.
  • Allow the helicopter's battery to cool down after use before recharging.
• Rotor Blades: Inspect rotor blades for damage after each flight. Replace any cracked or bent blades to ensure stable flight.
