Setup Instructions
- Install Batteries:
Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Open the cover and insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Connect the USB Receiver:
Locate the small USB wireless receiver, typically stored within the battery compartment or packaged separately. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
- Power On:
There may be a power switch on the keyboard. If present, slide it to the 'ON' position. The keyboard should now be ready for use.
Operating the Keyboard
- Wireless Connection: The keyboard operates on a 2.4 GHz wireless frequency, providing a stable connection up to 32 feet (10 meters) from the USB receiver.
- Compatibility: This keyboard is compatible with PCs running Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems.
- Battery Indicator: A low battery indicator light will illuminate or flash when the keyboard batteries are running low, signaling that replacement is needed soon.
