Model: B0040OFASO

Introduction

The Ossur Cold Rush Therapy Machine System is designed to provide effective cold therapy for various post-operative and injury recovery needs. This system delivers consistent cold temperatures to help reduce swelling, manage pain, and support rehabilitation. It is engineered for quiet operation, portability, and user-friendly setup.

Important Safety Information

WARNING: Consult with a healthcare professional before using this device, especially if you have pre-existing medical conditions or are taking medications. Improper use of cold therapy can lead to adverse effects such as skin damage or frostbite.

Product Components

The Ossur Cold Rush Therapy Machine System includes the main unit, power adapter, and tubing. Therapy pads are typically sold separately to allow for customization based on treatment area.

Setup Instructions

  1. Prepare the Unit: Place the Cold Rush unit on a stable, level surface.
  2. Add Water and Ice: Open the lid and fill the reservoir with cold water up to the indicated fill line. Then, add ice. Using frozen water bottles instead of loose ice can help maintain colder temperatures for longer and simplify cleaning.

  4. Connect Therapy Pad: Attach the desired therapy pad (sold separately) to the insulated tubing connectors. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.
  5. Position Therapy Pad: Place the therapy pad on the affected body part. Use the provided straps or wraps to secure the pad in place, ensuring comfortable contact with the skin. A protective barrier (e.g., a thin cloth) between the pad and skin is recommended.
  6. Power On: Connect the power adapter to the unit and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Turn the unit on using the power switch.

Operating Instructions

Once the unit is set up, it will begin circulating cold water through the therapy pad. The flow control knob allows for adjustment of the water flow rate.
