2. Safety Instructions

5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Placement

1. Carefully remove the turntable from its packaging.
2. Place the unit on a flat, stable, and level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or vibration.

5.2 Power Connection

1. Connect the power adapter to the DC input jack on the back of the turntable.

5.3 Connecting to a Computer (for USB Encoding)

2. Connect one end of the supplied USB cable to the turntable's USB port.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Playing a Record

1. Power On: Turn the Power/Volume knob clockwise to turn on the unit.
2. Select Speed: Set the speed selector switch to the appropriate speed for your record (33-1/3, 45, or 78 RPM). For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the spindle.
3. Place Record: Carefully place your record on the turntable platter.
4. Remove Stylus Guard: Gently remove the clear plastic stylus guard from the stylus.
5. Position Tonearm: Manually lift the tonearm and move it over the desired starting track of the record.
6. Lower Tonearm: Carefully lower the tonearm onto the record. The platter will begin to rotate and playback will start.
7. Adjust Volume: Adjust the volume using the Power/Volume knob.
8. End of Playback: At the end of the record, the tonearm will not automatically return. Manually lift the tonearm and return it to its rest. Turn the Power/Volume knob counter-clockwise to turn off the unit.

6.2 USB Encoding (Converting Vinyl to MP3)

The ITUT-400 includes easy-to-use recording software to convert your vinyl records to digital MP3 files. Refer to the separate software manual or instructions provided with the software for detailed installation and usage.

1. Install Software: Install the provided recording software on your PC or Mac.
2. Connect Turntable: Ensure the turntable is connected to your computer via the USB cable (refer to Section 5.3).
3. Launch Software: Open the recording software on your computer.
