5. Setup

  1. Placement: Place the amplifier on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  2. Power Connection: Ensure the POWER switch is in the OFF position. Connect the supplied power cable to the amplifier's power input and then to a suitable AC power outlet.
  3. Instrument Connection: Connect your bass guitar to the INPUT jack using a high-quality instrument cable.
  4. Initial Settings: Before powering on, set the VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE, and DRIVE controls to their minimum (counter-clockwise) positions.

  3. Tonal Shaping: Use the BASS and TREBLE controls to adjust the low and high frequencies of your sound. Experiment with these to find your preferred tone.

  5. Bright Tone: Engage the BRIGHT switch for an enhanced high-end presence, useful for cutting through a mix or for a more modern bass sound.
  6. Headphone Practice: For silent practice, connect your headphones to the PHONES jack. The internal speakers will automatically mute.
  7. Power Off: When finished, turn the VOLUME control to minimum, then flip the POWER switch to the OFF position. Disconnect the power cable from the outlet if the amplifier will not be used for an extended period.
