Wipe the stopwatch with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a cloth dampened with water and a mild soap, then wipe dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

5.2. Battery Replacement

Refer to Section 3.1 for battery replacement instructions. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

5.3. Water Resistance Precautions

The stopwatch is designed to be splash-resistant. Avoid submerging the stopwatch in water or operating buttons while it is wet, as this can compromise the water resistance and cause damage.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Blank Display: Check the battery. If the battery is new and correctly installed, perform a reset by briefly touching the AC contact on the module to the battery's negative terminal (refer to battery replacement section for module access).
  • Incorrect Time/Date: Re-enter the time and date settings as described in Section 3.2.
  • Buttons Unresponsive: Ensure the stopwatch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model typically does not have a lock function). If the issue persists, try a battery reset.
  • Inaccurate Timing: Ensure the stopwatch is in the correct mode. If timing remains inaccurate, the unit may require servicing.
