Operating Instructions
Basic Functions
- Left Button: Primary click function, used for selecting items, opening files, and executing commands.
- Right Button: Secondary click function, typically used to open context-sensitive menus.
- Scroll Wheel: Used for scrolling through documents and web pages. Pressing the scroll wheel often acts as a middle click button, which can open links in new tabs or enable auto-scrolling.
Additional Buttons
The MSI StarMouse SW-103 features four buttons. Beyond the standard left, right, and scroll wheel (which also functions as a button), there is an additional button. This button's function may vary depending on the operating system or specific software, but it is commonly used for tasks such as DPI switching or forward/back navigation in web browsers.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, keep your mouse clean. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Do not allow liquids to enter the mouse.
