Familiarize yourself with the following controls:

  • SNOOZE/LIGHT Button: Activates the snooze function when the alarm sounds or illuminates the display for a few seconds.
  • MIN Button: Adjusts minutes during time or alarm setting.
  • HR Button: Adjusts hours during time or alarm setting.
  • Time/Alarm Mode Selector (Slide Switch):
    • TM SET: For setting the current time.
    • AL SET: For setting the alarm time.
    • NORM: Normal time display mode.
  • Alarm ON/OFF/SNZ Selector (Slide Switch):
    • AL ON: Activates the alarm.
    • AL OFF: Deactivates the alarm.
    • SNZ: Activates the snooze function (alarm will sound again after approximately 8 minutes).
  • 12HR/24HR Button: Toggles between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.

Setup

Battery Installation

The clock requires two LR44 batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the clock.
  2. Insert the two LR44 batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Initial Time Setting

After installing batteries, the display will show a default time. Set the current time as follows:

  1. Slide the Time/Alarm Mode Selector switch to TM SET.
  2. Press the HR button to set the hour. Hold it down for faster adjustment.
  3. Press the MIN button to set the minutes. Hold it down for faster adjustment.
  4. Press the 12HR/24HR button to select your preferred time format (12-hour with AM/PM indicator or 24-hour).
  5. Once the correct time is set, slide the Time/Alarm Mode Selector switch back to NORM.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Alarm Time

  1. Slide the Time/Alarm Mode Selector switch to AL SET. The alarm time will be displayed.
  2. Press the HR button to set the desired alarm hour.
  3. Press the MIN button to set the desired alarm minutes.
  4. Slide the Time/Alarm Mode Selector switch back to NORM.

Activating/Deactivating the Alarm

  • To activate the alarm, slide the Alarm ON/OFF/SNZ Selector switch to AL ON. An alarm indicator (often a bell icon or similar) will appear on the display.
  • To deactivate the alarm, slide the Alarm ON/OFF/SNZ Selector switch to AL OFF. The alarm indicator will disappear.

Using the Snooze/Light Function

  • When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 8 minutes.
  • To illuminate the display at any time, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The light will stay on for a few seconds.
  • To stop the alarm completely after it sounds (without snooze), slide the Alarm ON/OFF/SNZ Selector switch to AL OFF.

Switching 12-Hour / 24-Hour Format

In NORM mode, press the 12HR/24HR button to toggle between the 12-hour format (with AM/PM indicator) and the 24-hour format.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the alarm weakens. Always replace both batteries at the same time.
  • Storage: If not using the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim: Check battery installation. Replace batteries if necessary.
  • Alarm does not sound: Ensure the Alarm ON/OFF/SNZ Selector switch is set to AL ON. Verify the alarm time is correctly set.
  • Incorrect time display: Re-set the current time following the 'Initial Time Setting' instructions.
