Components and Controls

Setup
Battery Installation
The clock requires two LR44 batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the clock.
- Insert the two LR44 batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Initial Time Setting
After installing batteries, the display will show a default time. Set the current time as follows:
- Slide the Time/Alarm Mode Selector switch to TM SET.
- Press the HR button to set the hour. Hold it down for faster adjustment.
- Press the MIN button to set the minutes. Hold it down for faster adjustment.
- Press the 12HR/24HR button to select your preferred time format (12-hour with AM/PM indicator or 24-hour).
- Once the correct time is set, slide the Time/Alarm Mode Selector switch back to NORM.
Operating Instructions
Setting the Alarm Time
- Slide the Time/Alarm Mode Selector switch to AL SET. The alarm time will be displayed.
- Press the HR button to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press the MIN button to set the desired alarm minutes.
- Slide the Time/Alarm Mode Selector switch back to NORM.
Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
- To activate the alarm, slide the Alarm ON/OFF/SNZ Selector switch to AL ON. An alarm indicator (often a bell icon or similar) will appear on the display.
- To deactivate the alarm, slide the Alarm ON/OFF/SNZ Selector switch to AL OFF. The alarm indicator will disappear.
Using the Snooze/Light Function
- When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 8 minutes.
- To illuminate the display at any time, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The light will stay on for a few seconds.
- To stop the alarm completely after it sounds (without snooze), slide the Alarm ON/OFF/SNZ Selector switch to AL OFF.
Switching 12-Hour / 24-Hour Format
In NORM mode, press the 12HR/24HR button to toggle between the 12-hour format (with AM/PM indicator) and the 24-hour format.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the alarm weakens. Always replace both batteries at the same time.
- Storage: If not using the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: Check battery installation. Replace batteries if necessary.
- Alarm does not sound: Ensure the Alarm ON/OFF/SNZ Selector switch is set to AL ON. Verify the alarm time is correctly set.
- Incorrect time display: Re-set the current time following the 'Initial Time Setting' instructions.
