  • TIME Adjustment: This dial controls how long the light remains on after motion is detected and the sensor is no longer triggered. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the duration and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
  • LUX Adjustment: This dial determines the ambient light level at which the motion sensor becomes active.
    • Turn towards the sun icon for the sensor to activate in brighter conditions (daylight).
    • Turn towards the moon icon for the sensor to activate only in darker conditions (nighttime).

Motion Detection: The sensor has a detection angle of 110° and a range of up to 5 meters. Position the light to cover the desired area for optimal performance.

Note: The LUX adjustment dial features a sun icon for daylight activation and a moon icon for nighttime activation.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your EGLO Helsinki Pathway Light.

  • Cleaning: Clean the fixture regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the stainless steel finish or plastic diffuser.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of damage, loose connections, or wear. Ensure the diffuser cover is securely in place.
  • Bulb Replacement: Before replacing the bulb, always disconnect the power supply. Allow the old bulb to cool down completely before removal. Replace with an E27 bulb, maximum 15W.
  • Motion Sensor: Keep the motion sensor lens clean and free from obstructions (e.g., dirt, leaves, spiderwebs) to ensure proper functionality.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your pathway light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Light does not turn on.No power supply, faulty bulb, incorrect wiring, LUX setting too high (daylight).Check power supply and circuit breaker. Replace bulb. Verify wiring connections. Adjust LUX setting towards the moon icon.
Light stays on continuously.Continuous motion detected, TIME setting too long, faulty sensor.Ensure no constant motion in detection area. Adjust TIME setting to a shorter duration. If problem persists, sensor may be faulty; contact support.
Light turns on during the day.LUX setting too low (towards moon icon).Adjust LUX setting towards the sun icon to activate only in darker conditions.
Motion sensor not detecting.Obstruction on sensor lens, incorrect LUX setting, object out of range/angle.Clean sensor lens. Adjust LUX setting. Reposition light or check detection area.
