Component Identification

Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the clock.
- Insert one AAA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are aligned correctly according to the diagram inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Time Setting
- Locate the TIME SET/ALARM SET switch on the back of the clock.
- Slide the switch to the TIME SET position. The time digits on the display will start flashing.
- Press the HR button (on the right side) to adjust the hour. Hold it down for faster adjustment.
- Press the MIN button (on the right side) to adjust the minute. Hold it down for faster adjustment.
- Once the correct time is set, slide the TIME SET/ALARM SET switch back to the NORMAL position. The time will stop flashing and begin to keep time.
Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Alarm
- Locate the TIME SET/ALARM SET switch on the back of the clock.
- Slide the switch to the ALARM SET position. The alarm time digits on the display will start flashing.
- Press the HR button to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the MIN button to adjust the alarm minute.
- Once the desired alarm time is set, slide the TIME SET/ALARM SET switch back to the NORMAL position. The alarm time will stop flashing.
2. Activating/Deactivating the Alarm
- To activate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch (on the rear) to the ON position. An alarm indicator (e.g., a bell icon or "AL") will appear on the display.
- To deactivate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. The alarm indicator will disappear.
3. Using the Snooze/Light Function
- When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock. The alarm will pause for approximately 5 minutes and then sound again. The "SNZ" indicator will flash.
- To stop the alarm completely after it sounds, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the OFF position, or let it ring for its full duration (typically 1 minute).
- To illuminate the display at any time, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The backlight will stay on for a few seconds.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents, as these may damage the casing or display.
Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the alarm function weakens, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the "Battery Installation" steps in the Setup section to replace the AAA battery.
