2. Setup

- Guitar Input: Connect your guitar to the INPUT jack on the RP300A using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Amplifier Output: Connect the OUTPUT jack(s) of the RP300A to your guitar amplifier's input or a mixing console using 1/4-inch instrument cables. For stereo operation, use both Left (Mono) and Right outputs.
- Headphone/Aux Input: The 3.5mm Audio hardware interface can be used for headphones for silent practice or to connect an external audio source (e.g., MP3 player) for jamming along.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Powering On and Off
To power on the RP300A, ensure all connections are made, then plug the power adapter into the wall outlet. The unit will automatically power on. To power off, simply disconnect the power adapter from the wall outlet.
3.2 Navigating Presets
The RP300A features numerous factory presets. Use the two footswitches labeled UP and DOWN to scroll through the presets. The display will show the current preset number and name.
3.3 Editing Effects and Amplifier Models
The RP300A allows for extensive customization of its 12 amplifier models and 26 effects. To edit a preset:
- Select the preset you wish to edit.
- Press the EDIT button to enter edit mode.
- Use the MODULE buttons to select the effect or amp module you want to adjust (e.g., Wah, Compressor, Amp Model, EQ, Delay, Reverb).
- Turn the PARAMETER knobs to adjust the settings for the selected module. The display will show the parameter name and its current value.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all desired modules.

3.4 Saving Presets
After editing a preset, you can save your changes to a user location:
- While in edit mode, press the STORE button.
- Use the UP/DOWN footswitches or the VALUE knob to select the desired user preset location.
- Press the STORE button again to confirm and save the preset.
3.5 Using the Expression Pedal
The built-in expression pedal can be assigned to control various parameters, such as Wah, Volume, or effect levels. Refer to the detailed parameter assignment section in the full manual for specific instructions on configuring the expression pedal.
