4. Product Overview

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your ONKYO WAVIO GX-R3X(B) speakers:

  1. Placement: Place the right speaker (main unit) and left speaker on a stable surface, ensuring they are positioned for optimal stereo sound. The slanted front baffle is designed to direct sound towards your listening position.
  2. Connect Left Speaker: Connect the speaker connection cable from the "SPEAKER OUT" terminal on the rear of the right speaker to the input terminal on the rear of the left speaker.
  3. Connect Audio Source: Use the RCA audio cable to connect your audio source (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet) to the "RCA INPUT" terminals on the rear of the right speaker. Ensure the red plug connects to the red (right) input and the white plug connects to the white (left) input.
  4. Connect Power: Connect the AC power adapter to the "DC IN" jack on the rear of the right speaker, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
  5. Power On: Turn on the speakers using the power switch or control knob (if integrated) on the front panel. The power indicator LED should light up.

6. Operating Instructions

Once set up, operating your speakers is straightforward:

  • Adjusting Volume: Rotate the Volume Control Knob on the front panel of the right speaker clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
  • Adjusting Bass: Use the Bass Control Knob to fine-tune the low-frequency response to your preference.
  • Using Headphones: Plug your headphones into the Headphone Jack on the front panel. This will typically mute the speakers and route audio to your headphones.
