Game Components

Setup

1. Place the game board on a flat surface.
2. Separate the Monorail Stops (yellow) and Monorail Stations (blue) into their respective piles.
3. Shuffle the Chance cards and place them face down on the designated "Chance" space on the board.
4. Shuffle the Community Chest cards and place them face down on the designated "Community Chest" space on the board.
5. Each player chooses a unique pewter token and places it on the "GO" space.
6. Select a banker. The banker is responsible for all money and property not yet owned. The banker also manages Monorail Stops and Stations.
7. The banker distributes the starting money to each player according to the standard Monopoly rules (e.g., two $500, two $100, two $50, six $20, five $10, five $5, and five $1 bills).

Gameplay (Operating Instructions)

The game proceeds in turns, with players rolling dice and moving their tokens around the board. The objective is to be the last player remaining with money and properties, driving all other players into bankruptcy.

1. Starting a Turn: The player rolls both dice and moves their token clockwise the number of spaces indicated by the dice.
2. Landing on a Space:
   • Unowned Property: If you land on an unowned property, you may buy it from the bank for the price printed on the board. If you choose not to buy it, the property is auctioned off to the highest bidder.

4. Trading and Mortgaging: Players can trade properties with each other. Properties can also be mortgaged to the bank for cash, but no rent can be collected on mortgaged properties.
5. Bankruptcy: If a player cannot pay their debts (rent, taxes, etc.), they declare bankruptcy and are out of the game. Their remaining assets are turned over to the player they owe or the bank.
6. Winning the Game: The last player remaining in the game, after all others have gone bankrupt, is the winner.
