1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for setting up and playing the Harley-Davidson Live to Ride Collector's Edition Monopoly Board Game. This special edition integrates the classic Monopoly gameplay with iconic Harley-Davidson themes, allowing players to engage in buying, selling, and trading legendary motorcycles and related items.

The objective remains to acquire properties, build structures, and ultimately bankrupt opponents by collecting rent.

2. Components

Carefully unpack the game box and ensure all the following components are present:

• Property Cards (featuring Harley-Davidson motorcycles and items)

• Banker's Tray
• Custom Adventure Cards (replacing Chance)
• Custom Freedom Cards (replacing Community Chest)
• 2 Custom Dice
• 32 Garages (replacing Houses)
• 12 Dealerships (replacing Hotels)
• 8 Custom Pewter Game Tokens

3. Setup

1. Unfold the Game Board: Place the game board on a flat surface.
2. Separate Cards: Shuffle the Adventure cards and place them face down on the designated 'Adventure' space. Shuffle the Freedom cards and place them face down on the designated 'Freedom' space. Separate the Property Cards by color group.
3. Banker Selection: Each player rolls one die. The player with the highest roll becomes the Banker. The Banker is responsible for managing the bank's money, property cards, garages, and dealerships. The Banker may also play, but must keep personal funds separate from the bank's.
4. Initial Funds Distribution: The Banker distributes the starting money to each player. Refer to the included rulebook for specific amounts.
5. Choose Tokens: Each player selects one of the 8 custom pewter game tokens and places it on the 'GO' space.
6. Garages and Dealerships: Place the garages and dealerships near the board, ready for purchase.

4. Operating (How to Play)

The gameplay follows the traditional Monopoly rules with a Harley-Davidson theme. The goal is to be the last player remaining with money and properties.

4.1 Game Start

• The player to the left of the Banker starts the game.
• Players roll both dice and move their token clockwise around the board the corresponding number of spaces.

4.2 Landing on Spaces

• Unowned Property: You may buy the Harley-Davidson motorcycle or item property from the Bank for the price printed on that space. If you decline, the Banker immediately auctions it to the highest bidder.
• Owned Property: If another player owns the property, you must pay them rent as indicated on their Property Card.
• Adventure or Freedom: Draw the top card from the respective pile and follow its instructions.
• Toll Road (Income Tax): Pay the specified amount to the Bank.
• Go To Jail: Move your token directly to the 'In Jail' space. You do not collect $200 for passing GO.
• Free Parking: No action is required.
• GO: When you pass or land on GO, collect $200 from the Bank.

4.3 Building Garages and Dealerships

• Once you own all properties in a color group, you can begin building Garages (houses) and Dealerships (hotels) on them.
• Buildings must be erected evenly across properties within a color group.
• Garages and Dealerships increase the rent collected from other players.

4.4 Trading and Mortgaging

• Players can trade properties, money, and 'Get Out of Jail Free' cards with each other at any time.
• Properties can be mortgaged to the Bank for additional funds. Mortgaged properties do not collect rent.

4.5 Becoming Bankrupt

If you owe more money than you can pay, even after selling buildings and mortgaging properties, you are bankrupt and out of the game.

4.6 Winning the Game

The last player remaining in the game wins.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the game board and plastic components with a dry, soft cloth if needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store all game components in their original box in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure all pieces are accounted for before storage to prevent loss.
• Handling: Handle cards and money carefully to prevent bending or tearing.
