  1. Unplug: Always unplug the coffee maker from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Cool Down: Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.

  4. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  5. Descaling (AutoClean Function): Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) can build up. The coffee maker features an AutoClean function. To descale:
    • Fill the water tank with a mixture of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1:1 ratio) or a commercial descaling solution.
    • Place the empty thermal mug under the dispenser.
    • Press and hold the "PRO" and "ON/OFF" buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the AutoClean cycle begins.
    • Allow the cycle to complete. This may take several minutes.
    • After the cycle, discard the solution and run 2-3 cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse thoroughly.
  6. Storage: When not in use for an extended period, ensure the coffee maker is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Coffee maker does not turn on. Not plugged in; power outage; faulty outlet. Ensure the plug is securely in the outlet. Check the circuit breaker. Try a different outlet.
Coffee does not brew. No water in tank; filter basket not properly seated; programmed timer not activated. Fill water tank. Ensure filter basket is correctly in place. Check if the "PRO" indicator is lit for programmed brewing.
Coffee tastes weak or too strong. Incorrect coffee-to-water ratio; coffee grind too coarse/fine. Adjust the amount of coffee grounds. Use medium-ground coffee.
Water leaks from the machine. Water tank overfilled; filter basket overflowing; parts not assembled correctly. Do not exceed the MAX fill line. Ensure filter basket and permanent filter are correctly seated.
Coffee brews slowly. Mineral buildup (limescale). Perform a descaling cycle using the AutoClean function.
