The TMEZON 7 Inch 1080P Video Door Phone Intercom System provides enhanced home security and convenience. Featuring a 7-inch IP touch screen monitor and a 1080P wired doorbell, this system allows you to see, hear, and speak with visitors, and even remotely unlock your door via the TuyaSmart mobile application. It supports both wired and 2.4GHz WiFi connections, offering flexibility for various installations.
2. Package Contents
Before installation, please verify that all items listed below are present in your package:

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Physical Installation
The system uses a 4-wire connection between the indoor monitor and the outdoor doorbell. The monitor is designed for wall mounting. Ensure the power supply for the monitor is plugged into an outlet. The outdoor doorbell is weather-resistant (IP65) and can be installed in various outdoor conditions.
3.2 App Connection (TuyaSmart)
The TMEZON intercom system supports connection to the TuyaSmart application for remote control and monitoring. The monitor only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. Please ensure your WiFi router operates on this frequency.
Method 1: Add Device by EZ Mode
- Step 1: Enter the settings interface on the indoor monitor.
- Step 2: Select 'Network'.
- Step 3: Change the 'Connect mode' to 'EZ mode'. The monitor will reboot.
- Step 4: Press the 'Search' button to enter the WiFi connection page. The monitor will automatically search for available WiFi networks. Select your WiFi network and enter the password to complete the connection.
- Step 5: Connect your smartphone to the same 2.4GHz WiFi router that the IP indoor monitor is connected to. (5G WiFi is not supported).
- Step 6: Open the TuyaSmart app. Click 'Add Device' or the '+' icon. The app will automatically search for devices. Select the device found in the search list and click 'Add'. The device will automatically add. Click the 'Done' button to complete the device addition.
Method 2: Add Device by AP Mode
- Step 1: Enter the settings interface on the indoor monitor.
- Step 2: Select 'Network'.
- Step 3: Change the 'Connect mode' to 'AP mode'.
- Step 4: Open the TuyaSmart app. Click 'Add Device' or the '+' icon. Navigate to 'Camera & Lock' and select 'Smart Doorbell'. Choose 'WiFi mode' and click 'Next'.
- Step 5: Select 'AP mode'. Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi network name and password. Then, go to your smartphone's WiFi settings and connect to the device's hotspot, which typically starts with 'SmartLife-'. Input the default password (refer to your physical manual for the default password).
- Step 6: Return to the TuyaSmart app. The app will attempt to connect to the device. Wait for the connection to complete. Once successful, the device will be added.

4. Operation
4.1 Basic Functions
- Two-Way Audio: Engage in real-time conversations with visitors at your door through the indoor monitor or the TuyaSmart app.
- Remote Unlock: Unlock your door remotely using the TuyaSmart app on your smartphone, directly from the indoor monitor, or via RFID cards/numbers at the doorbell.
- Video Recording & Playback: When visitors press the doorbell or motion is detected, the system can automatically take snapshots or record videos. These are stored on a Micro SD card (up to 256GB, not included) and can be reviewed from the monitor or the app.
- Night Vision: The 1080P doorbell camera includes a built-in infrared sensor for clear night vision, ensuring visibility even in low-light conditions.
- Motion Detection: The system can detect motion and send notifications to your phone, enhancing security.

4.2 Multiple Intercom Setup
The system supports connecting up to 2 doorbells with 4 indoor monitors (slave monitor model: MZ-AHD7). This allows for dual-way communication between the outdoor camera and any indoor monitor, as well as call transfer between monitors within the household.
4.3 Ringtones
Choose from 16 chord ringtones, which can be freely switched. Both the ringtone and volume are adjustable to suit your preferences.

6. Troubleshooting
- No App Notification: Ensure your smartphone is connected to the internet and the TuyaSmart app has notification permissions enabled. Check if the monitor is properly connected to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Device Not Found in App: Verify the monitor is in the correct pairing mode (EZ or AP) and your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz WiFi network. For AP mode, ensure you connect to the device's hotspot first.
- No Sound/Low Volume: Check the ringtone and volume settings on the indoor monitor.
- No Video Recording: Ensure a Micro SD card is inserted into the monitor and has sufficient storage. Check motion detection settings if automatic recording is desired.
- Doorbell Not Responding: Check the 4-wire connection between the doorbell and the monitor. Ensure the doorbell has power.
- Remote Unlock Not Working: Verify the electronic lock is correctly wired to the doorbell and the unlock function is enabled in the app/monitor settings.
7. User Tips
- WiFi Compatibility: Always ensure your home WiFi network is 2.4GHz when connecting the monitor. 5GHz networks are not supported.
- Security: For enhanced security, change any default passwords provided in the manual for your device and app access.
- Storage: Consider purchasing a Micro SD card (up to 256GB) to enable video recording and snapshot storage for visitor logs and motion detection events.
