- Preparation: Ensure your Dreame H15 Pro or T40 vacuum cleaner is turned off and unplugged before attempting to install or replace the water tank.
- Removing the Old Tank (if applicable): Locate the existing clean water tank on your vacuum cleaner. Depending on your model, there may be a release button or latch. Gently press the release mechanism and pull the tank away from the main unit.
- Installing the New Tank: Align the new Dreame Clean Water Tank with the corresponding slot on your vacuum cleaner. Push it firmly into place until you hear a click, indicating it is securely locked.
- Filling the Tank: Open the fill cap on the top of the clean water tank. Fill the tank with clean tap water, or a recommended cleaning solution if specified by your vacuum cleaner's manual, up to the MAX fill line. Close the cap securely.

4. Operating the Water Tank
Once the clean water tank is installed and filled, your vacuum cleaner is ready for wet cleaning operations. The vacuum will automatically draw water from this tank to wet the roller brush and clean surfaces. Monitor the water level during operation and refill as needed.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
- Emptying After Use: After each wet cleaning session, it is recommended to empty any remaining clean water from the tank to prevent stagnation and odor.
- Rinsing: Rinse the inside of the clean water tank with fresh water. You can use a mild detergent if necessary, but ensure it is thoroughly rinsed to remove all soap residue.
- Drying: Allow the tank to air dry completely before re-installing it or storing it. This helps prevent mold and mildew growth.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check the tank for any signs of cracks, leaks, or blockages in the water outlet. Replace the tank if any damage is observed.
