5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Choosing the Right Model
The charger comes with different plug types and power ratings. Ensure you select the model that matches your vehicle's charging port and your electrical supply:
- Schuko Plug: Typically for 3.5KW models, suitable for standard household sockets.
- Blue CEE Plug (55mm): For 7KW models.
- Red CEE Plug (55mm): For 11KW models.
- Red CEE Plug (63mm): For 22KW models.
If your car does not support 3-phase power, an 11KW or 22KW charger will automatically reduce its output to 3.5KW or 7KW respectively to protect your vehicle.
5.2 Vehicle Compatibility
This product is suitable for all Type 2 interface models. For Tesla vehicles, an IEC 62752 adapter is required.

8. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Q: Why is the maximum charging power of my 11KW charger only about 3.5KW?
A: This typically occurs if your vehicle or electrical supply does not support 3-phase power. The charger automatically reduces the power to 3.5KW (or 7KW for 22KW models) to protect the car. - Q: The charger is not starting.
A: Check if the power plug is securely connected to the outlet and the charging gun is properly inserted into the vehicle. Ensure the ambient temperature is within the operating range (above 65°C for automatic start). - Q: The charger stopped unexpectedly.
A: This could be due to high temperature protection (above 85°C). Allow the charger to cool down. Also, check for any faults indicated on the display. - Q: Can I set a precise timer for charging?
A: The device does not have a precise timer function, but it can be planned for delayed charging with a maximum time of 5 hours.
9. User Tips
- Optimize Charging Costs: Utilize the scheduled charging feature to charge your EV during off-peak electricity hours, which can significantly reduce your energy bill.
- Current Memory: The charger remembers your last selected current setting, so you don't have to reconfigure it every time unless you wish to change it.
- Grounding for Safety: Although the charger supports ungrounded mode, always use a grounded connection when possible for enhanced safety and protection against electrical faults.
- Check Plug Compatibility: Before purchasing, verify the diameter and type of plug required for your specific power outlet (e.g., Blue 7KW plug is 55mm, Red 11KW plug is 55mm, Red 22KW plug is 63mm).
