3. Product Overview

The BOAVISION R11 camera features a dual-lens system for comprehensive surveillance. The upper lens is a PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera with auto-tracking and humanoid detection, while the lower lens is a fixed-position camera for panoramic viewing. This allows for dual-screen synchronous monitoring within the iCSee application.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Physical Installation

The camera supports various installation methods: on a table, ceiling-mounted, or wall-mounted. Choose a location that provides optimal coverage and a stable surface.

4.2 Powering On

Connect the power cable to the camera's power port and then plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

4.3 App Download and Account Registration

Download the iCSee app from the Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS). You can also scan the QR code provided on the product packaging or in the manual to quickly access the app download. After installation, register a new account or log in if you already have one.

4.4 Device Connection

The camera supports two main connection methods: Wi-Fi Quick Connection (via QR code) and Bluetooth Quick Connection.

Method 1: Wi-Fi Quick Connection (QR Code)

  1. Open the iCSee app and tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
  2. Select 'Wi-Fi Camera' and follow the on-screen prompts.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
  4. The app will generate a QR code. Hold your phone with the QR code approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) in front of the camera lens.
  5. The camera will emit a 'Connect router successfully' prompt, indicating successful connection.
  6. Follow the remaining steps in the app to name your device and complete the setup.

Method 2: Bluetooth Quick Connection

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  2. Open the iCSee app and tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
  3. The app should automatically detect nearby devices. Select your camera from the list.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network.
  5. Once connected, name your device and complete the setup.

4.5 AP Wi-Fi Hotspot (Direct Connection)

If you don't have an internet connection or prefer a direct connection, you can use the camera's AP Wi-Fi Hotspot mode. This allows you to connect your phone directly to the camera's Wi-Fi signal within a 10-meter range to view the real-time feed and adjust settings.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and Dual Screen

Once connected, open the iCSee app to view the live feed from your camera. The dual-screen feature allows you to view both the PTZ camera and the fixed-position camera simultaneously for a comprehensive overview.

5.2 Pan Tilt Rotation

Use the controls within the iCSee app to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle. The PTZ camera can rotate 355° horizontally and 90° vertically, providing extensive coverage of your monitored area.

5.3 Auto Tracking and AI Humanoid Detection

Enable the 'Auto Tracking' feature in the app settings. The camera will then automatically follow any detected moving objects. With 'AI Humanoid Detection' enabled, the camera can specifically identify human figures and send alarm alerts to your smartphone, reducing false alarms.

5.4 Two-Way Audio

Utilize the two-way audio feature to communicate through the camera. Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak, and the camera's built-in speaker will broadcast your voice. You can also hear audio from the camera's location through its microphone.
