Initial Setup
Please choose a method that suits you best and operate according to the picture tips.
Method A/B: Set up WIFI connection through hotspot connection (Recommended)
Method C/D: Set up WIFI connection via network cable connection (Optional)
Note: We recommend using Method A/B, which is compatible with 99.99% mobile devices. In some special cases, your mobile device may need to try optional setting methods C/D.
Method A: Setup via Hotspot Connection (Recommended)
- Step 1: Download the mobile app (CamHiPro). Search "Camhipro" in App Store / Google Play Store or visit www.boavision.com.
- Step 2: Connect to the camera's AP WiFi. Turn on your mobile's WLAN and connect to the Hotspot WiFi "IPCAM-XXXXX", Default Password "01234567".
- Step 3: Add Camera UID in App. Open the CamHipro App, select "+", then "IP camera", then "New device". You will see a new device UID name like "xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx". Click "Yes, I want to add this device", then "Add to".
- Step 4: Configure the WiFi connection. Select your home Internet WiFi and enter your WiFi password. Click "Configure wireless and add device" to finish the setting. You will hear a tone from the camera once it's connected successfully.
Tips:
- The camera will emit one loud tone when connected successfully.
- If not successful, the camera emits 4 small tones, indicating a WIFI password error.
Notes for Method A/B: Keep your phone and camera close to the WiFi router during initial setup. WiFi signal strength should be at least 80%. Do not use special characters (e.g., è, à, ö) or symbols (@, #, &) in Wi-Fi SSID or password. Ensure your WiFi is 2.4GHz, not 5GHz.
Method B: Setup via Hotspot Connection (Recommended)
This method involves resetting the camera first.
- Step 1: Download the mobile app (CamHiPro). Search "Camhipro" in App Store / Google Play Store.
- Step 2: Power up and Reset the camera. Power up the WiFi camera, wait 30 seconds, then press and hold the reset button for 20-30 seconds until you hear a loud sound indicating factory default.

- Step 4: Connect to AP Wifi "IPCAM-XXXXX" (Default Password "01234567").
- Step 5: Configure WiFi connection. Go back to the app, wait for the camera to be ONLINE. Navigate to Setting > Wireless Setting, select your WiFi, and APPLY. The camera will emit a loud tone upon successful connection.
Tips for shared cameras: Add "Device In Use" in CamHipro App, scan the shared QR Code or manually input the shared UID and correct password.

- Step 1: Download the mobile app (CamHiPro). Search "Camhipro" in App Store / Google Play Store or visit www.boavision.com.
