5. Maintenance
- Placement: For optimal performance, place the repeater in a central location between your router and the area needing extended coverage. Avoid placing it near large metal objects, concrete walls, or other electronic devices that may cause interference.
- Cleaning: Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Power Cycle: If you experience connectivity issues, try power cycling the device (unplug it from the power outlet, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in).
6. Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection:
- Ensure the repeater is properly connected to your main router (either wirelessly or via Ethernet cable in AP mode).
- Check if your main router has internet access.
- Verify that the repeater's settings (SSID, password) match your main router's network if in Repeater mode.
- Weak Signal or Frequent Disconnections:
- Relocate the repeater closer to your main router, but still within the range of a strong signal.
- Adjust the external antennas for better reception.
- Minimize interference from other electronic devices.
- WPS Connection Fails:
- Ensure both the repeater and your router support WPS.
- Press the WPS button on both devices within the specified time frame (usually 2 minutes).
- If WPS continues to fail, try the web browser setup method.
- How many Ethernet ports does it have and what speed are they?
- The U13 Repeater has two Ethernet ports: one LAN and one WAN.
- The maximum LAN data rate supported is 1200Mbps.

7. User Tips
- Optimal Placement: For the best signal extension, place the repeater roughly halfway between your main router and the area where you need improved Wi-Fi. Ensure it receives at least two bars of signal from your main router.
- Unified Network Name: The '2.4G/5G Same Name' feature means you don't need to manually switch between frequency bands; the device intelligently connects to the best available signal.
- WPS Convenience: Utilize the WPS button for a quick and hassle-free setup, especially if your main router also supports WPS. This avoids manual configuration via a web browser.
- Wired Connections: Use the available LAN ports to connect wired devices like smart TVs, gaming consoles, or desktop computers for a more stable and faster connection in extended areas.
