5. Setup Instructions
5.1. SIM Card Installation
- Using the provided screwdriver, carefully open the back cover of the EV-04 device.
- Insert a Nano SIM card into the designated SIM card slot. Ensure the SIM card is correctly oriented as indicated by the diagram inside the device.
- Close the back cover and secure it with the screwdriver.

5.2. Initial Charging
- Connect the magnetic USB cable to the charging base.
- Plug the charger into a power outlet.
- Place the EV-04 device onto the charging base. The device will indicate charging status (e.g., LED indicator).

5.3. App Download and Device Registration
- Download the 'Smart Locator' application from your smartphone's app store (available for Android and iOS).
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.
- Register your EV-04 device within the app using its unique identification number (usually found on the device or packaging).
5.4. Setting Emergency Contacts
- Within the 'Smart Locator' app, navigate to the emergency contact settings.
- Add up to 10 emergency contact numbers, including emergency services like 911. These numbers will be called sequentially when the SOS button is pressed or a fall is detected.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
To power on the device, press and hold the power button (if available, otherwise assume automatic power on after charging/SIM insertion). To power off, typically press and hold the power button until the device indicates shutdown.

In an emergency, press and hold the prominent SOS button on the device. The device will initiate calls to your pre-set emergency contacts and send location alerts via the app and SMS.
