Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's power is off before beginning installation.

  1. Sensor Installation:

Determine the optimal locations for the 8 sensors on your vehicle's front and rear bumpers. Ensure they are evenly spaced and at a consistent height. Use the provided hole saw drill bit to drill holes of the correct diameter (25mm) into the bumpers. Carefully insert the sensors into the drilled holes, ensuring a snug fit. The sensors are typically marked for front (A, B, C, D) and rear (E, F, G, H) placement, or can be used interchangeably depending on the wiring configuration.

  2. Control Box Placement:

Mount the main control box in a secure, dry location within the vehicle, such as the trunk or under the dashboard. Ensure it is easily accessible for wiring connections.

  3. Wiring Connections:

Connect each sensor cable to the corresponding port on the main control box (labeled A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H). Ensure the connections are firm. Connect the display unit cable to the "MONITOR" port on the control box. Connect the power cable to the "POWER" port on the control box. The power cable typically connects to the vehicle's reverse light power for rear sensors and an ignition-switched power source for front sensors, or a dedicated power source for continuous monitoring. Consult a professional for specific vehicle wiring.

  4. Display Unit Mounting:

Mount the LCD display unit on your dashboard using the provided double-sided adhesive pad. Choose a location that offers clear visibility without obstructing your view of the road.

Operating Instructions

The parking sensor system automatically activates when the vehicle is engaged in reverse gear (for rear sensors) or when the vehicle is moving slowly/at low speeds (for front sensors, if wired for continuous monitoring or a separate switch). The LCD display will show the distance to obstacles, and a buzzer will provide audible alerts.

  • Visual Display:

The high-quality LCD digital display shows the distance to obstacles in meters (m). The display accuracy is between 30-250 centimeters (0.3m - 2.5m). As you approach an obstacle, the displayed distance will decrease. The display also uses color-coded zones to indicate proximity:

    • Blue Zone: Safety (further distance)
    • Green Zone: Attention (medium distance)
    • Red Zone: Danger (close proximity)

  • Audible Alarm:

The integrated buzzer provides a "BiBiBi" alarm prompt. The frequency of the alarm sound increases as the vehicle gets closer to an obstacle, providing an intuitive indication of proximity.

Maintenance

  • Keep sensors clean from dirt, snow, or ice to ensure accurate detection.
  • Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals to clean the display unit; a soft, damp cloth is sufficient.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
System not powering on.Loose power connection, no power from vehicle.Check power cable connections. Verify vehicle's reverse light or ignition power source is active.
