4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Printer

Before first use, fully charge the printer using the provided Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the printer's Type-C port and a standard USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

4.2 Loading Label Paper

  1. Locate the cover opening knob on the side of the printer.
  2. Rotate the knob to open the printer cover.
  3. Insert a roll of HPRT New1 self-adhesive thermal label paper into the designated slot, ensuring the printing surface faces upwards.
  4. Close the cover securely. The printer will automatically detect the label type via RFID and position it correctly.

4.3 App Installation and Bluetooth Connection

  1. Download the "HerePrint" app from the Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS).
  2. Turn on the HPRT New1 printer by pressing the power button.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet.
  4. Open the "HerePrint" app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your printer via Bluetooth.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again until the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Creating and Printing Labels

  1. Ensure the printer is powered on and connected to your device via Bluetooth.
  2. Open the "HerePrint" app.
  3. Select a template or design your label from scratch within the app. The app offers various design elements including text, images, QR codes, and barcodes.
  4. Customize the label content, font, size, and other parameters as needed.
  5. Preview the label in the app to ensure it meets your requirements.
  6. Tap the "Print" button in the app. The printer will automatically print the label.

5.3 Label Applications

The HPRT New1 printer supports a wide range of label applications:

  • Home Organization: Label food containers, spice jars, files, and storage boxes.
  • Retail: Create price tags, product labels, and clothing tags.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Printer

  • Ensure the printer is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the printer.
  • For the print head, gently wipe with an alcohol swab or a specialized thermal printer cleaning pen. Avoid touching the print head with bare hands.
  • Remove any dust or debris from the label path.

6.2 Label Paper Care

HPRT New1 label paper is designed to be durable, featuring waterproof, oil-proof, and scratch-resistant properties. It also tears off without leaving glue residue.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Printer not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the printer to a power source using the Type-C cable.

  • App not detecting label type: Ensure you are using HPRT New1 label paper with RFID identification. Restart the app and printer.

  • Optimize Battery Life: Turn off the printer when not in use to conserve battery.
  • Label Design: Experiment with different templates and fonts in the "HerePrint" app to create unique and functional labels.
  • Batch Printing: For multiple identical labels, utilize the batch printing feature within the app to save time.
  • Label Variety: Explore the different label series (pure white, color pattern, transparent, data line, Christmas theme) to match your specific needs and aesthetic preferences.
