HPRT HM-T3 PRO Quick Start Guide
Packing List
The package typically includes:
- Printer: A compact portable label printer.

Paper Loading
Follow these steps to load the roll paper:
- Press the cover opening button to open the printer cover.
- Load the roll paper into the designated compartment. The paper should be oriented correctly, with the thermosensitive layer facing the thermal head. The diagram shows the correct orientation (indicated by a circle ✔️) and an incorrect orientation (indicated by a cross ❌).
- Pull the end of the roll straight towards you. Then, firmly press down on both sides of the printer cover to close it securely. Ensure both sides click shut.
- Use the built-in tear bar to cut off any excess paper after printing.

Front View
- [MODE] Button: For menu navigation and selection.
- LCD: Displays status information and menu options.
- Power LED: Indicates the power status of the printer.
- Error LED: Indicates any error conditions.
- Paper Roll Perspective Window: Allows viewing of the remaining paper roll.

Battery Installation
- Ensure the printer is turned off before installing or removing the battery pack.
- Insert the battery pack into the back of the printer, following the direction indicated by the arrow. Press down on the battery pack until the securing hook clicks into place.
- To remove the battery pack, pull back the hook and lift the battery out. This is the reverse of the installation procedure.
Battery Charging
The printer can be charged using a USB connection.
- Connect the printer to a power source via the USB cable.
- When the battery pack is low on power, the battery icon on the LCD will flash. The printer will automatically power off if it continues printing with a depleted battery. Recharge the battery to continue use.
- The POWER indicator will flash green while charging and turn off when fully charged.
- For optimal charging, especially if the battery icon indicates full charge while the printer is on, it is recommended to turn off the printer and allow it to charge until the POWER indicator turns off.
Charging can be done via PC or AC Adapter.
Wi-Fi Settings
The printer's Wi-Fi function is disabled by default and must be enabled via the menu.
- In Access Point (AP) mode, the default IP address is "192.168.1.1".
- The default SSID is "T3PRO_AP-XXXX", where "XXXX" represents the last four digits of the printer's Wi-Fi MAC address.
- To change Wi-Fi settings, use the provided Utility tool.
? Note: Wi-Fi settings are only configurable on models equipped with Wi-Fi functionality.
Menu Settings
- To turn on the printer and access the menu, press and hold the [MODE] button for approximately 2 seconds. The LCD will display the status.
- To enter the setting mode, press and hold both the [MODE] and [FEED] buttons simultaneously. Release them once the screen displays "Enter Menu Mode".
- Use the [MODE] button to navigate through menu items or to return to the previous menu.
- Use the [FEED] button to move the cursor (represented by "_") or to confirm a selected setting.
? Note: Ensure that the printer is not connected to a host device before changing menu settings. Bluetooth communication with a host device will prevent entry into the Menu Setting mode.
FCC Warning
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) the device must not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, as per Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and used according to instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. There is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a specific installation.
If this equipment causes harmful interference to radio or television reception (which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on), users are encouraged to try correcting the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
- Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for assistance.
FCC RF Exposure Information and Statement
The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limit for the USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. This Portable Label Printer has been tested against this SAR limit.
For typical body-worn operations, the back of the device was kept 0mm from the body during testing. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that keep a 0mm separation distance between the user's body and the back of the device. Accessories such as belt clips or holsters should not contain metallic components. Using accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure regulations and should be avoided.
This equipment also complies with ISED radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment. It can be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 0 cm between the radiator and the user's body. End users must follow the specific operating instructions to ensure RF exposure compliance. This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
