3. Installation
3.1 Pre-Installation Requirements
Before installation, ensure your door meets the following criteria:
- Suitable Door Types: Wooden Door, Steel Door.
- Door Thickness: Refer to the installation diagram for specific thickness requirements.
- Reserved Holes: Check the diagram for required hole spacing and diameters on the door panel.

3.2 Dimensions

3.3 Installation Steps (General)
- Prepare the door according to the dimensions and hole requirements.
- Install the lock core into the door.
- Mount the exterior and interior smart lock units, ensuring proper alignment.
- Secure all components with the provided screw pack.
- Connect any necessary wiring if opting for L+N wiring power supply.
- Test the mechanical key function to ensure it operates smoothly.
4. Setup
4.1 Power Supply
The lock can be powered by 4 AA alkaline dry batteries (not included) or via L+N wiring. For emergency, a USB Type-C interface is available.

4.2 App Pairing and Remote Control
To enable remote control via the MOES/Tuya Smart/Smart Life APP, a Bluetooth gateway (hub) is required and must be purchased separately. Follow the app's instructions to pair the lock with your gateway and home Wi-Fi network.

4.3 Adding Users (Fingerprints, Passwords, IC Cards)
Use the MOES/Tuya Smart/Smart Life APP to manage and add new users. The lock supports:
- Fingerprints: Up to 100 unique fingerprints.
- Passwords: Up to 250 groups of passwords.
- IC Cards: Up to 250 IC cards.
Follow the in-app instructions for each method to register new access credentials.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Unlocking by Fingerprint
Place your registered finger on the semiconductor fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock in less than 0.6 seconds if the fingerprint is recognized.

5.2 Unlocking by Password
Enter your registered password on the keypad. The lock supports a virtual password feature, allowing you to enter random numbers before or after your actual password to prevent onlookers from guessing your code.

5.3 Unlocking by IC Card
Tap your registered RFID IC card on the designated card reader area of the lock.
5.4 Unlocking by APP
Open the MOES/Tuya Smart/Smart Life APP on your smartphone. If connected via a Bluetooth gateway, you can remotely unlock the door from anywhere with an internet connection.

5.5 Unlocking by Mechanical Key
In case of emergencies or power failure, use one of the provided mechanical keys to manually unlock the door.

5.6 Temporary Passwords for Visitors
Through the app, you can generate temporary passwords for guests, allowing them access for a specified period without needing to share your permanent codes.

5.7 Normally Open Mode
If you wish to keep the door unlocked for a period (e.g., during a party), you can activate the normally open mode via the app. This allows free entry and exit without requiring credentials.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the lock's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
- Battery Replacement: When the low battery alarm sounds, replace all 4 AA alkaline dry batteries promptly. Ensure correct polarity.
- Emergency Charging: If batteries die unexpectedly, use a USB Type-C cable to connect a power bank for temporary charging to gain access.
- Mechanical Key: Keep the mechanical keys in a safe, accessible location outside the locked area for emergency use.
- Rain Cover: Ensure the rain cover is properly installed over the exterior unit to maintain IPX4 waterproof protection.
7. Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels. If low, replace batteries or use emergency USB-C charging.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if issues persist.
