2. Safety Information
- Do not immerse the timer in water. While it is IPX5 waterproof, it is not designed for submersion.
- Use only 2xAA alkaline batteries. Do NOT use rechargeable batteries, as they may not provide stable power and could damage the device.
- Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Do not expose the timer to extreme temperatures outside its specified working range (4.5℃~45℃ / 40.1℉~113℉).
- Keep out of reach of children when not in use, or activate the Child Lock function.

6. Setup
6.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the side of the timer.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert two (2) new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely to maintain the IPX5 waterproof seal.

6.2. Connecting to Faucet
- Ensure your outdoor faucet has an NH3/4" external thread (US Version).
- Screw the brass inlet of the water timer onto your faucet. Hand-tighten only. Do not overtighten.
- Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks.

6.3. Connecting Hoses
- Attach your garden hoses to the two outlets at the bottom of the water timer.
- Ensure hoses are securely fastened to prevent leaks during operation.

7. Operating Instructions
The water timer allows for independent programming of two zones. Use the 'Zone' button to switch between Zone 1 and Zone 2 for programming.
7.1. Setting the Clock
- Turn the rotary knob to 'Set Clock'.
- Use the '+/-' buttons to adjust the current time.
- Press 'OK' to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., minutes).
- Repeat until the clock is set, then press 'OK' to save.
7.2. Setting Start Time
- Turn the rotary knob to 'Start Time'.
- Use the 'Zone' button to select the desired zone (1 or 2).
- Use the '+/-' buttons to set the desired start time for watering.
- Press 'OK' to confirm and save the setting for the selected zone.
7.3. Setting Watering Duration ('How Long')
- Turn the rotary knob to 'How Long'.
- Use the 'Zone' button to select the desired zone (1 or 2).
- Use the '+/-' buttons to set the watering duration (e.g., from 1 minute up to 23 hours 59 minutes).
- Press 'OK' to confirm and save the setting for the selected zone.
7.4. Setting Watering Frequency ('How Often')
- Turn the rotary knob to 'How Often'.
- Use the 'Zone' button to select the desired zone (1 or 2).
- Use the '+/-' buttons to set the watering frequency (e.g., every 1 day up to every 7 days).
- Press 'OK' to confirm and save the setting for the selected zone.

7.5. Automatic Mode
After setting the clock, start time, watering duration, and frequency for both zones, turn the rotary knob to 'AUTO'. The timer will now operate according to your programmed schedule.
7.6. Manual Watering
- In 'AUTO' mode, press the 'OK/Manual' button.
- Use the 'Zone' button to select the zone for manual watering.
- Use the '+/-' buttons to set the desired manual watering duration.
- Press 'OK' to start manual watering. The timer will water for the set duration and then return to automatic mode.
7.7. Rain Delay Function
The timer supports a rain delay function from 1 day up to 7 days. This feature allows you to pause your watering schedule temporarily to conserve water after rainfall.
- In 'AUTO' mode, press the 'OK/Manual' button.
- While in manual watering setup, press the 'OK/Manual' button again to cycle through options until 'Rain Delay' appears.
- Use the '+/-' buttons to select the desired delay period (1-7 days).
- Press 'OK' to activate the rain delay. The timer will resume its schedule after the delay period.
7.8. Child Lock Function
To prevent accidental changes to your watering schedule, the timer includes a child lock function.
- In 'AUTO' mode, long press the '-' (minus) button for 5 seconds to activate the child lock. A lock icon will appear on the display.
- To unlock, long press the '-' (minus) button for 3 seconds. The lock icon will disappear.

7.9. Turning Off the Timer
To stop all watering, turn the rotary knob to 'OFF'. This will pause all programmed schedules until the knob is turned back to 'AUTO' or another setting.
8. Maintenance
8.1. Battery Replacement
When the battery icon on the LCD display starts flashing, it indicates low battery. Replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
- Open the battery compartment.
- Remove the old AA alkaline batteries.
- Insert two new AA alkaline batteries, observing polarity.
- Securely close the compartment cover.
8.2. Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the timer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the brass inlet and outlets are free from debris or mineral buildup.
8.3. Winterization
Before the first frost, disconnect the water timer from the faucet and hoses. Remove the batteries. Store the timer indoors in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage from freezing water.
9. Troubleshooting
- Timer not watering:
- Check if the rotary knob is set to 'AUTO'.
- Ensure batteries are installed correctly and not depleted (check for low battery icon).
- Verify that the faucet is turned on.
- Check if a Rain Delay is active.
- Ensure operating pressure is within the specified range (0.05-0.8Mpa).
- Water leaking from connections:
- Ensure all connections (faucet, hoses) are hand-tightened securely.
- Check for damaged O-rings or washers and replace if necessary.
- Display is blank or dim:
- Replace batteries with new AA alkaline batteries.
- Cannot change settings:
- Check if the Child Lock function is active (lock icon on display). Unlock by long pressing the '-' button for 3 seconds.

- For optimal battery life and performance, use high-quality alkaline batteries.
- Regularly check the battery status, especially before leaving for extended periods.
- Utilize the two independent outlets to water different garden areas with varying needs, maximizing water efficiency.
- Consider using the Rain Delay function to prevent overwatering and save water after natural rainfall.
