Product Description

The MOES Smart Dual Water Timer offers intelligent control for your garden irrigation. It features a hose faucet connection and an outlet fitting of 3/4".

Device Diagram: The device is rectangular with a ribbed cap at the top for connecting to a hose faucet. It has two outlets at the bottom, each with threaded fittings. On the front, there is an oval-shaped area with two circular indentations, labeled as LED Light and ON/OFF Button. The outlets are labeled 1 and 2.

Initial Water Timer Setup

Step 1: Insert Batteries

1. Remove the tray on the back of the timer by sliding or pulling it out.

2. Insert two AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries and replace the tray.

⚠️ Note: Please do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.

Step 2: Install the Timer

Connect the timer to an outdoor hose faucet. Your timer is now ready to be used with any product that can be attached to a standard hose faucet.

⚠️ Note: Do not place the timer in an underground valve box or anywhere your Bluetooth signal will be obstructed.

Step 3: Turn on Your Water

The water must remain on for the timer to work properly.

Preparation for Use

1. Download MOES App

Download the MOES App from your app store or scan the QR code. The MOES App offers enhanced compatibility and features compared to Tuya Smart/Smart Life App, though the latter still functions.

2. Registration or Log in

Access the Register/Login interface. Tap "Register" to create an account by entering your phone number to get a verification code and set a password. Choose "Log in" if you already have a MOES account.

Add Device

1. Slide or pull out the tray on the back of the device to remove it. Insert two AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries and install the tray.

2. Open the MOES APP. Ensure your Bluetooth gateway/wired multimode gateway is connected to the APP. Enter the gateway and click “Add new devices”.

3. Enter configuration mode: Press and hold one of the "on/off buttons" for more than 6 seconds until the two green lights flash quickly at the same time. The water valve timer enters pairing mode.

4. Wait for 10-120 seconds. After adding the device successfully, you can edit the device name.

5. You can now set "smart scene linkage" according to your needs and enjoy your smart home life.

Additional Water Timer Features

1. Manual Watering

Your timer allows manual watering without disturbing the programmed schedule. This is useful for testing equipment, running an extra watering cycle, or using the hose faucet without removing the timer.

Click the [watering-can icon] button to activate manual watering. Using the app, you can click the "Work Time" option to set how long you want manual watering to run, and the remaining watering time will be displayed.

2. Stop Watering

You can stop the flow of water at any time, whether during manual watering or a programmed cycle. Click the [watering-can icon] button again to stop watering. (NOTE: The icon is without water droplets).

3. Rain Delay Function

The rain delay function allows you to postpone watering for 1 day up to 7 days if it is raining or the ground is already wet. Use the app to set the duration for the preset rain delay feature.

Warm Tips

  • The best range for connection and control is within 49.2ft (15m) in the open area.
  • The Bluetooth water timer does not support Alexa & Google voice or remote control.
  • Do not use your timer when the air temperature is below 40°F (4.5°C). Remove timers from the hose faucet and store indoors to avoid potential frozen damage.
  • The filter can trap dirt particles; please clean it regularly and replace if worn.
  • Please replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. When replacing the power unit, ensure the water timer is dry.
  • To prevent leakage, make sure the water timer is tightly attached to the faucet and hose. Add a rubber washer and thread seal tape if necessary!

⚠️ Note:

  • The water flow is reduced by half when the two zones are turned on at the same time.
  • The water flow in two zones may differ if you turn on one zone first and then the other.

Recycling Information

Products marked with the symbol for separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE Directive 2012/19 / EU) must be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste. To protect your health and the environment, this equipment must be disposed of at designated collection points for electrical and electronic equipment. Correct disposal and recycling help prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health. Contact the installer or your local authority for information on collection points.

Recycling Symbols: Includes the WEEE symbol (crossed-out wheeled bin), a symbol indicating electronics should not be disposed of with household waste, and French text "Cet appareil, ses accessoires, se recyclent" (This device, its accessories, are recycled) with associated collection point symbols.

Warranty Instructions

Thank you for purchasing the product. We hope you enjoy using it.

The warranty is granted as follows:

  1. Products are covered by a 24-month warranty, effective from the date of purchase by a retail customer.
  2. To exercise warranty rights, the purchaser must present: a) Warranty card, b) Proof of purchase (e.g., VAT invoice, financial receipt) confirming the actual date of purchase, unless the purchase date is on the warranty card.
  3. If product quality problems occur within 24 months from the date of receipt, prepare the product and packaging and go to the place of purchase for after-sales maintenance. If the product is damaged due to personal reasons, a maintenance fee will be charged.
  4. We recommend using original packaging with padding for safe transportation. If using replacement packaging, ensure adequate protection. Consider placing an impact warning sticker on the packaging.
  5. Reported defects covered by the warranty will be considered within 14 days from the date of delivery of the goods to the Guarantor.
  6. After verifying the warranty claim, the Guarantor's services will repair the product within a reasonable time, not exceeding 30 days from the date of delivery of the goods. This deadline may extend if hard-to-find spare parts are required.
  7. The warranty does not cover performance of maintenance and similar operations specified in the user manual; users are obliged to perform these themselves.
  8. Defects due to natural wear and tear during use are not covered.
  9. The warranty does not cover:
    • Mechanical damage caused by user fault.
    • Damage caused by improper use of the product.
  10. Rights under the guarantee expire in the following circumstances:
    • Removal of the warranty seal from the product.
    • Removal of the serial number from the product.
    • Attempting to eliminate physical defects outside of authorized service.
    • Use of non-original parts and consumables.
