4. Setup Guide
The system is designed for 'True Plug and Play' with cameras and NVR pre-paired via 2.4GHz wireless transmission before shipping.
4.1 Initial System Connection
- Connect Cameras to Power: Plug each IP camera into its respective 12V/1A power adapter and then into a power outlet.
- Connect NVR to Power: Plug the NVR into its 12V/3A power adapter and then into a power outlet. The NVR will power on and display the Hiseeu logo.
- Connect NVR to Mouse: Plug the included mouse into one of the NVR's USB ports.
- Connect NVR to Router (Optional for Remote Access): Use the Ethernet cable to connect the NVR's LAN port to your internet router. This is necessary for remote viewing via the mobile app.
- View Live Video: Once powered on, the NVR's 12-inch LCD screen will automatically display the live video feeds from the connected cameras.
4.2 Mobile App Setup (EseeCloud)

- Add Device: On the app's main screen, click the "+" icon or "Device addition" to add a new device.
- Scan QR Code: Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code displayed on the NVR monitor. To find the QR code on the NVR, right-click the mouse on the NVR screen and select "Fast Network".
- Name Device: After successful scanning, click "Add" and give your device a descriptive name (e.g., "Home Security").
- View Live Video: Once added, click the "Play" icon next to your device name to view the live video feeds. You can double-click the screen and swipe to switch between cameras.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Live View and Camera Switching
You can view live feeds directly on the NVR's 12-inch LCD monitor or via the EseeCloud mobile app. On the app, double-click a camera feed and swipe left/right to switch between different cameras.
5.2 Day and Night Vision
The cameras are equipped with a daylight sensor and IR LEDs, automatically switching between daytime color vision and nighttime black-and-white infrared vision for continuous monitoring.
5.3 Motion Detection and Alerts
The system supports motion detection. When motion is detected, the system can capture screenshots and record 30-second video clips, sending email alerts and push notifications to your EseeCloud app.
5.4 24/7 Recording
