Upon first boot, the NVR will guide you through initial setup steps.

- Language Selection: Use the mouse to select your preferred language from the 'General Setup' menu.
- HDD Installation (if applicable): If you purchased an HDD separately, power off the NVR, install the 3.5" SATA HDD, then power on. The NVR will prompt you to format the HDD.
- Network Configuration: The NVR should automatically connect to your network if the LAN cable is connected to a router with DHCP enabled.
4.3. Adding Wireless Cameras
The cameras are typically pre-paired with the NVR. If you need to add new cameras or re-pair existing ones:

- Right-click on the NVR display to access the main menu.
- Navigate to 'System Setup' or 'Video Manage' and select 'Wireless Add'.
- Click 'Search' to find available cameras. The NVR will display the IP and MAC addresses of detected cameras.

- The cameras should connect and display video feeds.
4.4. Mobile App Setup (EseeCloud)

Access your surveillance system remotely using the EseeCloud app.
- Download App: Search for 'EseeCloud' on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and install it.
- Register & Login: Open the app, register a new account, and log in.
- Add Device: Tap the '+' icon in the app to add a new device.
- Scan Cloud ID: Scan the NVR's Cloud ID (usually found in the NVR's 'System Admin' or 'Network Setup' menu) using the app's scanner.
- Connect: Follow the on-screen prompts to add the NVR and its connected cameras to your app.
5. System Operation
5.1. Live View

Once cameras are connected, you will see the live video feeds on your connected display or through the EseeCloud app. You can switch between single-camera view and multi-camera grid view.
5.2. PTZ Control

Use the NVR's mouse or the EseeCloud app to control the camera's pan (horizontal 355°) and tilt (vertical 90°) movements. This allows you to adjust the viewing angle remotely.
5.3. Recording Options
The system supports various recording modes:
- Continuous Recording: Records 24/7.
- Scheduled Recording: Set specific times for recording.
- Motion-Triggered Recording: Records only when motion is detected.
Configure these options in the NVR's 'Record Setup' menu.
5.4. Playback

Access recorded footage through the NVR's 'Video Playback' menu or the EseeCloud app. You can search by date, time, and event type. The timeline view helps in quickly locating specific events.
5.5. Motion Detection & Alerts

The system features AI Humanoid Detection. When motion is detected, especially human figures, the system can trigger alarms, send email alerts, and push notifications to your mobile app. You can configure detection zones and sensitivity in the NVR's 'Alarm Setup' or 'Channel Setup' menus.
5.6. Two-Way Audio

Use the EseeCloud app to engage in two-way communication through the camera. This allows you to speak to visitors or deter intruders directly from your smartphone.
5.7. Night Vision Modes

The cameras offer advanced night vision capabilities:
- Infrared Night Vision: Provides clear black-and-white video in complete darkness.
- Full Color Night Vision: Utilizes white LEDs to illuminate the area, providing color video even at night. This can be triggered by motion or set to always-on.
6. Maintenance
6.1. General Care
- Keep the NVR in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
- Regularly clean camera lenses with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality.
- Ensure all cables are securely connected and free from damage.
6.2. HDD Management

The NVR supports up to 4TB HDD. Refer to the table for estimated recording durations based on camera quantity and HDD size. It is recommended to regularly back up important footage and ensure the HDD is functioning correctly. The NVR can be configured to overwrite old footage automatically when the disk is full.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. No Video Display
- Check if the NVR and cameras are powered on.
- Verify HDMI/VGA cable connection between NVR and display.
- Ensure cameras are properly paired with the NVR (refer to Section 4.3).
- Check the power adapters for each camera and the NVR.
7.2. Poor Wireless Signal

- Ensure cameras are within the effective range of the NVR.
- Minimize obstacles (thick walls, metal structures) between cameras and NVR.
- Consider using a wireless repeater (if supported by your NVR model) to extend range.
7.3. Motion Detection Not Working
- Check motion detection settings in the NVR menu or app.
- Adjust sensitivity and detection zones.
- Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's view.
7.4. Remote Access Issues
- Verify the NVR is connected to the internet via the LAN port.
- Ensure your mobile device has a stable internet connection.
- Check if the EseeCloud app is updated to the latest version.
- Confirm the Cloud ID is correctly added to the app.
