5. Safety Information
Please read and understand all safety instructions before installing and operating the STC-200 temperature controller. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or damage to the device.
- Ensure the power supply voltage matches the device's requirements (220VAC ± 10%).
- Disconnect power before performing any wiring or maintenance.
- All wiring should be performed by a qualified electrician and comply with local electrical codes.
- Do not operate the device in environments exceeding the specified ambient temperature and humidity ranges.
- Avoid exposing the device to water or corrosive substances.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact qualified personnel for service.
6. Installation and Wiring
6.1 Physical Installation
The STC-200 is designed for panel mounting. Ensure the installation hole dimensions are 70.5 x 28.5 mm. Secure the controller firmly in place using the provided clips or mounting hardware.
6.2 Wiring Diagram
Refer to the wiring diagram below for proper electrical connections. It is crucial to connect the power supply, load, and temperature sensor correctly to ensure safe and accurate operation.

Figure 3: STC-200 Wiring Diagram. Connect the load (10A/220VAC), N.C. contact, temperature sensor, and 220VAC power as shown.
- Power Input: Connect the 220VAC power supply to the designated terminals.
- Load Output: Connect the device to be controlled (e.g., compressor, heater) to the "load" terminals. The relay contact capacity is 10A/250VAC/30VDC.
- Temperature Sensor: Connect the NTC temperature sensor to the "Temperature Sensor" terminals. Ensure the sensor is placed in the area where temperature needs to be measured.
- N.C. Contact: This normally closed contact can be used for additional control or safety circuits if required.
7. Operation
The STC-200 features a digital display and several buttons for operation and setting adjustments.

Figure 4: STC-200 Front Panel Controls.
7.1 Basic Controls
- Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the device ON or OFF.
- Set Button (Set): Used to enter parameter setting mode and confirm selections.
- Up Arrow (▲): Used to increase values or navigate through menu options.
- Down Arrow (▼): Used to decrease values or navigate through menu options.
7.2 Setting Temperature
The STC-200 uses a differential (hysteresis) method for temperature control. This means the device will turn on the cooling/heating when the temperature reaches a certain point and turn it off when it reaches another point, preventing rapid cycling.
- Press the "Set" button to enter the setting mode.
- Use the Up/Down arrows to adjust the desired set point temperature.
- Press "Set" again to confirm and exit.
7.3 Switching Modes (Refrigeration/Heating/Alarm)
The STC-200 allows manual switching between its operational modes. Specific instructions for accessing and changing these modes will be detailed in the full instruction manual (refer to the included printed manual for advanced settings).
7.4 Compressor Delay Time and Calibration
Advanced settings such as compressor startup delay and temperature calibration are accessible through the administrator parameter settings. Consult the detailed instruction manual for steps on how to access and modify these parameters.
8. Troubleshooting
The STC-200 is designed with built-in error detection and alarm functions.
- Alarm Indication: If an error occurs, the device will trigger an alarm. Refer to the full instruction manual for specific alarm codes and their meanings.
- Sensor Error: In case of a sensor error, the compressor will continue to operate according to its last scheduled procedure to maintain basic functionality. However, it is recommended to replace the sensor as soon as possible for accurate control.
- No Power: Check the power supply connection and ensure the power button is pressed.
- Incorrect Temperature Reading: Verify the sensor is correctly installed and not damaged. Consider performing a temperature calibration if necessary.
9. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your STC-200 temperature controller, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the device's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Sensor Inspection: Periodically check the temperature sensor and its cable for any signs of damage or corrosion. Ensure it is securely placed in the desired measurement area.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the operating environment remains within the specified temperature and humidity ranges to prevent damage.
