Attention
- Ensure that the camera lens is clean; foreign objects may scratch the lens. It is recommended to clean the lens with a soft, dry cloth.

- All parts should avoid cleaning with petrol, oil-based cleaners, and other organic solvents, as this may cause corrosion, waterproofing failure, and protective coating failure.
1. Packaging & Product
1.1 Packing List
The Spedal CL871 package includes the following items:

1.2 Wiring Diagram
Follow the wiring instructions carefully to ensure proper power connection:
- Black wire: Connect to the negative pole of the power supply or GND.
- Yellow wire: Connect to the positive pole of the power supply.
- Red wire: Connect to ACC power.
※ ACC Power Supply: A power supply can be identified as being in the ACC state when the motorcycle's electrical switch is in the OFF position and the voltage is 0 V, and when the switch is in the ON position, the voltage is between 11-14.4V.

2. Installation
2.1 Bracket Installation
- Align the screw holes of the rectangular metal plate on the bracket with the screw holes on the back of the main unit. Tighten the screws.
- Secure the bracket onto the motorcycle handlebar and tighten the screws.
- Adjust the angle of the main unit screen to a suitable position.
※ Ensure that the installation of the main unit, bracket, and other components does not block the driver's line of sight, ensuring driving safety.

2.2 Tire Pressure Sensor (Optional) Installation
If you have the optional Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors, follow these steps for installation:
- Enter the tire pressure binding interface on the device and select the tire you want to bind.
- Install the tire pressure sensor on the corresponding tire. The installation steps are as follows:
- Remove the tire valve cap.
- Screw in the hex nut and then install the tire pressure sensor.
- Use a wrench to reverse rotate the hex nut to push it into the sensor.
- Spray soapy water around the valve to check for leaks.
- Follow the above steps in order, and the tire pressure sensor will be successfully bound.

2.3 Audio Output
The Spedal CL871 supports audio output via Bluetooth. You can connect your Bluetooth earphones directly to your phone for immediate audio interaction without needing to route through the CL871. This setup ensures clearer and more stable audio for calls and music, even in complex riding environments.

3. Features and Settings
3.1 Home Screen
The home screen provides quick access to key functions:

- Display date, week, and time in sequence.
- Enter the Apple CarPlay screen mirroring mode.
- Enter the Android Auto screen mirroring mode.
- Click to close the screen.
- Enter the device setting mode.
- Enter the tire pressure binding and setting mode (You need to enable it in the settings first).
3.2 Apple CarPlay Connection
To connect your iPhone to Apple CarPlay:
- Click the CarPlay icon on the main screen to enter the Apple CarPlay mode.
- Go to the "Settings" menu on your iPhone and enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Go to the "Bluetooth" menu on your iPhone and under the "OTHER DEVICES" list, select the Bluetooth named "BLINK-****".
- Wait for about 20-30 seconds, and your iPhone will display a "Bluetooth Pairing Request" window. Select "Pair".
- Your iPhone will then prompt you with a "Use CarPlay with 'SmartScreen'?" window. Select "Use CarPlay".
- Wait for a moment, and you will enter CarPlay mode.


Important Notes for Apple CarPlay:
- Please make sure your iPhone supports Apple CarPlay. For more details, please visit: https://www.apple.com/ios/carplay/
- Both CarPlay and the iPhone voice system need to be enabled, so please check if Siri is turned on.
- The initial connection for wireless CarPlay may take longer, so please be patient.
- Different iOS versions may have variations from the example provided, so please refer to your actual situation.
- If you want to switch to Android Auto, you need to disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your iPhone and disconnect from Apple CarPlay mode.
3.3 Android Auto Connection
To connect your Android phone to Android Auto:
- Click the Android Auto icon on the main screen to enter the Android Auto mode.
- Go to the "Settings" menu on your phone and enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Tap on the "Bluetooth" menu to access the Bluetooth search page.
- Click on "Pair new device".
- From the list of Available devices, select the Bluetooth named "BLINK-******".
- Wait for about 20 seconds, and your phone will display a "Pair with BLINK-****" window. Select "Pair".
- Wait for a moment, and you will enter Android Auto mode.


Important Notes for Android Auto:
- Please make sure your phone is running on Android 11 or above and supports 5GHz Wi-Fi and Google Play services.
- The initial connection for wireless Android Auto may take longer, so please be patient.
- Display and settings may vary across different Android models, so please refer to your actual situation.
- If you want to switch to Apple CarPlay, you need to disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone and disconnect from Android Auto mode.
3.4 Settings
Click the Settings icon on the main screen to enter the setting mode. Here you can configure various aspects of your device:
- General
- Theme: Set the theme to night, day, or automatic.
- Language: Choose from Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Polish, Dutch, or Portuguese.
- Set Time: Set the date and time and the time display format.
- Bright Level: Adjust the screen brightness, or set it to Auto dimming.
- Tire Pressure Info: Enable or disable tire pressure monitoring function.
- Bluetooth
- Bluetooth Name: Customizable Bluetooth name.
- Paired Device: View paired Bluetooth devices.
- System
- About: View the current device model, serial number, and version number.
- Boot Logo: Customizable startup logo.
- Restart System: Restart the device.
- Factory Data Reset: Restore all settings to factory defaults.
3.5 Tire Pressure Monitoring Settings
Click the TPMS icon on the main screen to enter the Tire Pressure Monitoring Settings mode (you need to enable it in the settings first).

- Front Wheel: Click "Unpaired" to start pairing the front tire pressure sensor. After successful pairing, the tire pressure and temperature will be displayed.
- Rear Wheel: Click "Unpaired" to start pairing the rear tire pressure sensor. After successful pairing, the tire pressure and temperature will be displayed.
- High Temperature Alarm: Set the temperature alarm upper limit.
- High Voltage Alarm: Set the upper limit of the air pressure alarm.
- Low Voltage Alarm: Set the lower limit of the air pressure alarm.
- Pressure Unit: Set pressure units (Bar, Psi).
- Temperature Unit: Set temperature units (°C, °F).
- Parameter Setting Reset: Reset all settings.
- Clear Binding Pairing: Clear binding pairing.
3.6 Firmware Upgrade
To upgrade the device firmware:
- Turn on the device and navigate to: Settings > System > About > OTA upgrade.
- Download installation package:
- Method 1 (Scan QR code): Open the browser on your phone, find the "Scan QR Code" function, scan the QR code displayed on the device, enter the software download page, and click the appropriate file (e.g., "******.img") to download the upgrade installation package to your phone.
- Method 2 (Enter website address): Enter the URL

- Connect your phone to WiFi: Connect your phone to the device's WiFi network. The WiFi name is typically "blink_wifi_****" and the password is "12345678".
- Select installation package and upgrade: By using the "Scan QR Code" function of the mobile browser, scan the QR code at the bottom of the "OTA Upgrade" menu on the device to enter the device software upgrade interface. Select the recently downloaded file (e.g., "******.img") and click "Upgrade" to perform the software upgrade. The progress of the software upgrade will appear on the device until it is completed.

Troubleshooting
- Connection Issues (CarPlay/Android Auto): Ensure both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone. Verify that the device's Bluetooth is selected and paired.
