4. Setup
4.1 Inserting a Micro SD Card
- Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the V9H unit.
- Insert a Class 10 or higher Micro SD card (up to 256GB recommended) into the slot until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

4.2 Dash Camera Installation
- Clean the desired area on your car's windshield.
- Apply one of the static stickers to the cleaned area.
- Attach the 3M adhesive to the vehicle mount, then firmly press the mount onto the static sticker on the windshield.
- Slide the V9H main unit onto the vehicle mount until it locks securely.
- Connect the Type-C power cable to the V9H and the car charger, then plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

4.3 Sports Camera Setup
The V9H's modular design allows it to be detached from the vehicle mount and used as a standalone sports camera. Various accessories for action cam mode are sold separately, enabling attachment to helmets, bikes, or body straps.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or top) for a few seconds to turn the camera on or off.
5.2 Basic Recording and Photography
- Start/Stop Recording: Press the record button once to start, and again to stop.
- Take Photo: Press the photo button once to capture an image.
5.3 AI Voice Control
The V9H supports hands-free operation. Use the following voice commands:
- "Take Video" - Starts video recording.
- "Take Photo" - Captures a still image.
- "Turn on Screen" - Activates the display.
5.4 Shooting Modes
The V9H offers several shooting modes for different scenarios:
- Interval Photo: Captures photos at set intervals (e.g., 3s, 10s, 5min, 15min).
- Timed Photo: Takes photos after a countdown (e.g., 3s, 5s, 10s).
- Burst Photo: Captures a rapid sequence of photos (e.g., 3s, 5s, 10s, 20s).
- Slow Motion Video: Records video at a higher frame rate for slow-motion playback (1/2X & 1/4X options).

5.5 Pre-recorded Function
The camera can capture up to 10 seconds of footage prior to a detected event, ensuring you don't miss critical moments.

5.6 Video Tagging
During recording, you can mark important video files for easier retrieval and protection from being overwritten.

5.7 App Connectivity
Download the Botslab app to connect your V9H via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The app allows for live view, video playback, settings adjustment, and file management.

5.8 Monitoring Modes
The V9H supports various monitoring perspectives:
- Front View Monitoring: Standard dash cam view.
- Interior Monitoring: Captures the inside of the vehicle.

5.9 Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS)
The EIS-Steady feature helps to smooth out footage, reducing blur and shakiness, especially useful during action camera use or on bumpy roads.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and screen. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the Botslab app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
- SD Card Management: Format your Micro SD card periodically (e.g., once a month) to prevent data corruption and ensure smooth recording. Back up important files before formatting.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Camera Not Turning On
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the camera to a power source using the provided Type-C cable and car charger/USB power cord.
- Check if the power button is being pressed and held for a sufficient duration (typically 3-5 seconds).
7.2 Recording Issues (e.g., not recording, corrupted files)
- Verify that a compatible Micro SD card (Class 10 or higher) is properly inserted.
- Format the Micro SD card within the camera's settings.
- Check if the SD card is full. If so, back up and delete old files or replace the card.
- Ensure the camera's firmware is up to date.
7.3 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Connectivity Problems
- Make sure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on both the camera and your smartphone.
- Ensure your smartphone is within range of the camera.
- Restart both the camera and your smartphone.
