4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

The keycaps are made of ABS plastic. To clean the keyboard:

  • Power off the keyboard and disconnect it from any devices.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and chassis.
  • For deeper cleaning, you may carefully remove keycaps (if applicable and with proper tools) and use compressed air to clear debris from underneath.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish or keycap legends.

4.2 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • If the keyboard will not be used for an extended period, charge it to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.
  • The keyboard features an auto-sleep function to conserve power when idle.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your EWEADN G61 keyboard, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged. Check the connection mode (2.4G, Bluetooth, or Wired) and ensure it matches your device's connection. Try reconnecting or re-pairing.
  • Keys not working: Test the keyboard with a wired connection to rule out wireless issues. Ensure no debris is lodged under the keycaps.
  • RGB backlight not working or stuck: Try cycling through the light effects using FN+BACK. Ensure the keyboard is sufficiently charged.
  • Bluetooth pairing issues: Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Remove the keyboard from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to re-pair. Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled.
  • 2.4Ghz Wireless connection issues: Ensure the receiver is securely plugged in. Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port. Ensure the keyboard is in 2.4Ghz mode.
  • Battery not charging: Ensure the Type-C cable is properly connected to both the keyboard and a working USB power source. Try a different cable or USB port.
