3.4 WiFi Connection Guide
Follow these steps to connect your X5 Mini Camera to your home Wi-Fi network via the 'HomeEye' app. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4G as the camera does not support 5G networks.
- Step 1: Open your phone's 'Settings'.
- Step 2: Navigate to 'WLAN Settings' or 'Wi-Fi settings' on your phone.
- Step 3: Select and connect to the camera's hotspot. This will typically appear as a network name starting with 'AYS-' followed by a series of numbers and letters (e.g., 'AYS-114279-JBKJL').
- Step 4: Open the 'HomeEye' application.
- Step 5: The device should be added automatically. A pop-up tip will ask "Whether the device added by the AP is equipped with a network". Select the "Sure" button.
- Step 6: Select your 2.4G Wi-Fi network from the list and enter its password. Then, click the "Next" button.

- Step 8: Wait for approximately 40-60 seconds for the device to connect. Once successful, the app will return to the main page.
