1. Introduction

The EWEADN V3 is a versatile wireless keyboard designed for seamless connectivity across various devices. It supports both Bluetooth and 2.4G wireless modes, offering flexibility and convenience. Featuring 104 silent membrane keys with unique water drop keycaps, a monochrome backlight, and a rechargeable battery, this keyboard is built for comfortable and efficient typing.

2. Safety Information

FCC Statement: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

5. Setup Instructions

5.1. Hardware Requirements

Ensure your device (computer, laptop, tablet) has a Bluetooth system or an available USB port for the 2.4G receiver.

5.2. Power Switch

Locate the power switch (ON/OFF) on the keyboard. Slide it to the "ON" position to power on the keyboard.

5.3. 2.4G Wireless Connection

1. Ensure the keyboard is powered on (switch to "ON").
2. Press the FN + 1 key combination on the keyboard to switch to 2.4G mode.
3. Insert the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
4. The keyboard should connect automatically and be ready for use.

5.4. Bluetooth Connection

The keyboard supports two Bluetooth channels (BT1 and BT2).

1. Ensure the keyboard is powered on (switch to "ON").
2. For Bluetooth Channel 1: Press the FN + 2 key combination to switch to Bluetooth mode 1. The BT1 indicator light (blue) will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
3. For Bluetooth Channel 2: Press the FN + 3 key combination to switch to Bluetooth mode 2. The BT2 indicator light (blue) will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
4. On your device, open Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
5. Select either "EWEADN-V3 3.0" or "EWEADN-V3 5.0" (depending on the channel selected and your device's Bluetooth version) from the list of devices.
6. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. Once paired, the corresponding BT indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.

5.5. Charging the Keyboard

Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the keyboard's Type-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator light (red) will be solid during charging and turn off when fully charged.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Indicator Lights

The keyboard features 7 indicator lights:

• NUMLOCK (Green): Indicates Number Lock status.
• CAPSLOCK (Green): Indicates Caps Lock status.
• 2.4G Indicator (Green): Indicates 2.4G wireless mode is active.
• BT1 Indicator (Blue): Indicates Bluetooth Channel 1 is active/pairing.
• BT2 Indicator (Blue): Indicates Bluetooth Channel 2 is active/pairing.
• Low Pressure Light (Red): Flashes slowly when the battery voltage is around 3.3V, indicating low battery.
• Charging Light (Red): Solid when charging, turns off when fully charged.

Note: When CAPS Lock or NUM Lock is active, their respective lights will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of key release to conserve power.

6.3. Backlight Settings (Game Mode)

The keyboard features a monochrome backlight with five brightness levels:

• The backlight is always on by default when the keyboard is powered on.
• It will turn off automatically after 2 minutes of inactivity to save power.
• The backlight will actively turn off when the battery voltage is low.
• FN + PGUP: Increase backlight brightness (5 levels, 1st level is off).
• FN + PGDN: Decrease backlight brightness.
• FN + SCRLK: Toggle backlight on/off.

6.4. Sleep and Wake

To conserve battery, the keyboard will enter sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. To wake it up, simply press any key.

7. Maintenance

• Keep the keyboard clean by regularly wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid exposing the keyboard to excessive moisture, dust, or extreme temperatures.
• Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the keyboard.
• Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

8. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not connecting: Ensure the keyboard is powered on and fully charged. For 2.4G, check if the USB receiver is properly inserted and the keyboard is in 2.4G mode (FN+1). For Bluetooth, ensure the correct Bluetooth channel (FN+2 or FN+3) is selected and your device's Bluetooth is enabled and searching. Try re-pairing the device.
• Keys not responding: Check battery level. If low, charge the keyboard. Ensure the keyboard is not in keypad lock mode (FN+F11).
• Backlight not working: Check backlight brightness settings (FN+PGUP/PGDN) and ensure it's not turned off (FN+SCRLK). Low battery can also cause the backlight to turn off.
• Intermittent connection: Ensure the keyboard is within range of your device. Avoid sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

• For optimal performance, keep the keyboard charged, especially if using the backlight frequently.
• Utilize the dual Bluetooth channels to quickly switch between two different devices (e.g., a laptop and a tablet).
• The ergonomic design and foldable foot support are intended to provide comfort during long typing sessions. Adjust the foot support to your preferred angle.
• The PBT two-color injection moulded keycaps are designed for durability and resistance to wear.
