5. Setup

  1. Charge the Device: Before first use, fully charge the air pump using the provided USB-C cable and a 5V-3A power adapter. The four-segment power display will indicate charging status.
  2. Attach the Air Pipe: Connect the high-pressure air pipe extension tube to the air pump's inflation port. Ensure it is securely screwed in.
  3. Select the Correct Nozzle: Choose the appropriate nozzle for the item you wish to inflate:
    • Presta Valve Adapter: For French bicycle valves.
    • Ball Needle: For sports balls.
    • Quick Connect Gas Nozzle Converter: For standard Schrader valves (cars, motorcycles, most bicycles).
    Attach the selected nozzle to the end of the air pipe.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

To power on, press and hold the power button. To power off, press and hold the power button again, or the device will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.

6.2 Connecting to Item for Inflation

Connect the assembled air pipe and nozzle to the valve of the item you want to inflate. Ensure a tight seal to prevent air leakage. The digital display will show the current pressure reading.

6.3 Mode Selection and Pressure Setting

The air pump offers multiple preset inflation modes. Press the mode button to cycle through them:

  • Custom Mode: Default 35psi (Adjustable range: 3-150psi / 0.2-10.3bar)
  • Bicycle Mode: Default 45psi (Adjustable range: 30-65psi)
  • Motorcycle Mode: Default 2.4bar (Adjustable range: 1.8-3.0bar)
  • Car Mode: Default 2.5bar (Adjustable range: 1.8-3.5bar)
  • Electric Scooter Mode: Default 50psi (Adjustable range: 45-60psi)
  • Ball Mode: Default 8psi (Adjustable range: 4-16psi)

Once a mode is selected, use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the target pressure. The device features independent pressure detection and will automatically stop once the target pressure is reached.

6.4 Starting and Stopping Inflation

After setting the desired pressure, press the inflation button (usually the central button) to start inflation. The real-time pressure will be displayed. The pump will automatically stop when the target pressure is reached. To manually stop inflation, press the inflation button again.

6.5 Lighting and Emergency Warning

The air pump is equipped with a white LED light for illumination during daily maintenance and a two-color emergency light (red) with SOS flashing mode for emergency situations.

7. Charging

The Xiaomi Mijia Air Pump 2 Pro is equipped with a 2500mAh battery and charges via a USB-C port. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the pump and a 5V-3A power adapter. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours. The four-segment power display will indicate the battery level.

8. Maintenance

  • Clean the exterior of the air pump with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
