2. Safety Information

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Tool

Before first use, fully charge the Worx WX106 Rotary Tool using the provided Type-C USB cable. Connect the cable to the USB charge port on the tool and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). The power indicator lights will show the charging status.

5.2 Attaching Accessories

  1. Ensure the tool is turned off.
  2. Press and hold the self-locking button to lock the chuck.
  3. Loosen the chuck lock by turning it counter-clockwise.
  4. Insert the desired accessory bit into the chuck. Ensure the bit is fully seated.
  5. Tighten the chuck lock by turning it clockwise until the accessory is securely held. Use the provided wrench for extra tightening if necessary.
  6. Release the self-locking button.

Note: When using sand rings for grinding, please ensure the screws are tightened and the sand ring is installed correctly to prevent it from slipping off during operation.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

Press the Power Switch button to turn the tool on or off. The LED light will illuminate automatically when the tool is started and turn off after 15 seconds of inactivity.

6.2 Speed Adjustment

The WX106 features 5 gear speed adjustments. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease the operating speed. The speed adjustment indicator lights will show the current setting. Adjust the speed according to the material and application for optimal results.

6.3 Gear Memory Function

The tool is equipped with a gear memory function. If you turn off the tool for a short break or temporary business and restart it within 10 minutes, it will maintain the original speed setting, eliminating the need for repeated adjustments.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the tool to ensure optimal performance. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris.
