No Display or Faint Display:
- Check if the batteries are installed correctly with the right polarity.

-
Inaccurate Temperature Readings:
- Ensure the probe is inserted into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bone, fat, or gristle.
- Verify that the probe is fully inserted into the thermometer's port.
-
"--- " or "LLL/HHH" on Display:
- This usually indicates a probe error. Ensure the probe is securely plugged into the unit.
- If the issue persists, the probe might be damaged and require replacement.
User Tips
- For optimal accuracy, always insert the probe into the center of the thickest part of the food, away from bones or heating elements.
- Utilize the preset temperatures for common meats, but feel free to customize the target temperature for specific recipes or personal doneness preferences.
- The backlight feature is particularly useful for grilling or cooking in low-light environments, ensuring you can always read the temperature clearly.
- Consider having spare probes on hand, as they can sometimes wear out or get damaged with frequent use.
