5. Setup

- Choose either "Voltage" or "Current" to view the respective waveform.

6.3. Cranking Test

- From the main menu, select "Cranking Test".
- Follow the on-screen instructions: "Turn off the engine, if necessary, turn on the lights for 2 minutes, discharge, and then test again. Press OK to next."
- When prompted, start the engine.
- The tester will display the cranking voltage and status (e.g., Normal).

6.4. Charging Test
This test checks the vehicle's charging system (alternator).
- From the main menu, select "Charging Test".
- Follow the on-screen instructions: "Start the engine and keep idling, press OK to continue, ESC to exit."
- The tester will display the load voltage, no-load voltage, and ripple, indicating the charging system's performance.

6.5. Load Test
The Load Test assesses the battery's performance under a simulated load.
- From the main menu, select "Load Test".
- Follow the on-screen instructions: "Please turn on all electric devices. Start the engine, wait 15 seconds. Press OK to start testing."
- The tester will display the maximum load testing voltage, current voltage, and minimum voltage, indicating the battery's capacity under load.

6.6. Data Review & Printing
The BT880 allows you to review previously recorded test data and print results.
- From the main menu, select "Review".
