4.1 Mounting Options
You can mount the taillight on either the seatpost or the saddle rails using the provided brackets and cable ties/rubber strap.
- Seatpost Mounting:
- Select the appropriate seat tube bracket.
- Attach the bracket to your bicycle's seatpost using the rubber strap or cable ties, ensuring a secure fit.
- Slide the XR01 taillight onto the bracket until it clicks into place.
- Saddle Rail Mounting:
- Select the seat cushion bracket.
- Secure the bracket to the saddle rails using the provided cable ties.
- Slide the XR01 taillight onto the bracket until it is firmly attached.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The XR01 taillight features a single button for control. Press and hold the button to power on or off. Short press the button to cycle through the available lighting modes: Standard, Flash, Breathing, and Strobe.
5.2 Smart Auto On/Off
The taillight is equipped with an intelligent vibration sensor. It will automatically turn off after 30 seconds of detecting no motion. When vibration is detected again (e.g., when you start cycling), the light will automatically turn back on in its last used mode.
5.3 Smart Brake Sensing
The XR01 features smart brake sensing. When the device detects a deceleration (braking), it will automatically highlight for 3 seconds to provide an intensified warning to vehicles behind you, significantly improving safety.
6. Charging the Device
The XR01 taillight is equipped with a Type-C charging port for convenient recharging.
- Locate the Type-C charging port on the taillight.
- Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the taillight and a standard USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- The indicator light will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed after charging to maintain its IPX6 waterproof rating.

- Cleaning: Wipe the taillight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Resistance: The device is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets. However, avoid submerging it in water for extended periods. Always ensure the charging port cover is sealed.
