6. Operating Instructions
Once the charger is properly connected to both the power outlet and the scooter, the charging process will begin automatically.
- Charging Indicator: The charger features an LED indicator. When the scooter is charging, the LED will typically display a specific color (e.g., red). Once the scooter's battery is fully charged, the LED will change to green.
- Charging Time: Charging time varies depending on the battery level and capacity of your scooter. Refer to your scooter's manual for estimated charging times.
- Disconnecting: Once charging is complete, first disconnect the charger from the scooter, then unplug the AC power cable from the wall outlet.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the charger. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Cable Care: Avoid bending or crimping the power cables excessively. Do not place heavy objects on the cables.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the charger and cables for any signs of damage. If damage is found, discontinue use immediately and seek professional assistance.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your charger, try the following steps:
- Charger Not Working: Ensure both the AC power cable and the scooter connection are firmly plugged in. Try plugging the AC cable into a different wall outlet to rule out a faulty power source.
- LED Not Changing Color: If the LED indicator does not change from charging status (e.g., red) to fully charged status (green) after an extended period, consult your scooter's manual or contact support.
- Overheating: If the charger feels excessively hot, disconnect it immediately and allow it to cool down. Ensure it is used in a well-ventilated area.
If problems persist, contact the seller or a qualified service technician.
