- Product batteries (if applicable) should be recycled and must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Dispose of batteries according to local environmental regulations.
6.2. Recycling Information
All products marked with the symbol for separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU) must be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste. To protect your health and the environment, this equipment must be disposed of at designated collection points for electrical and electronic equipment designated by the government or local authorities. Correct disposal and recycling will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health. 7. Troubleshooting
7.1. Common Issues and Solutions
- Cannot configure the equipment:
- Check if the device is powered on.
- Ensure your mobile phone and the smart remote are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Verify that you have a stable internet connection.
- Confirm that the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
- Ensure the wiring (power cable) is correct.
- IR Learning Issues:
- The device supports learning 38KHz carrier frequency. If you cannot receive instructions from your original remote, the main reason might be a mismatch in carrier frequency. In this case, the device cannot learn the instruction.
- When learning, ensure you do not long-press the original remote's button; a short press should be sufficient for the MOES Smart Remote to receive the instruction regularly.
8. User Tips
- Wi-Fi Network: Always ensure your device and smartphone are connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during setup and for optimal performance. 5GHz networks are not supported.
- IR Learning: When using the DIY learning function, make sure the original remote is pointed directly at the MOES Smart Remote and press buttons briefly. If learning fails, check the carrier frequency compatibility.
- App Compatibility: While Tuya Smart/Smart Life App can be used, the MOES App is recommended for the best experience and access to all features, including Siri control and advanced scene recommendations.
- RF Control: Remember that RF devices currently do not support voice control via Alexa or Google Home.
