Diode Test

- Connect the tip of the instrument to the positive electrode of the diode, and the black pen to the negative electrode.

NCV (Non-Contact Voltage) Test

- The simulated amount of induced AC voltage is indicated by the display and buzzer. If the critical voltage is ≤ 100V, "EF" is displayed. If the critical voltage is < 100V, "---" is displayed in the transverse section. The number of sections (----) and the rhythm of the buzzer sound and light indication will vary with the intensity of the induced electric field.
- Note: When switching to NCV measurement, always unplug the black test pen to avoid electric shock.


Live Line Identification
- Long press the power button to turn on. The instrument displays "Auto".
- Press the NCV/LIVE/AUTO switch button to select LIVE measurement. "LIVE" will be displayed on the right of the screen.
- When the instrument nib is connected to a live wire, the buzzer will emit a ticking sound, the red LED light will turn on, and the LCD screen will display "---H".
