2. Safety Information

  • Keep the remote control away from water and high humidity.
  • Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

The Rollerhouses DC2700 and DC2702 are RF (Radio Frequency) remote controls designed to operate motorized roller shades. The DC2700 offers single-channel control, while the DC2702 provides multi-channel control for up to 15 groups of shades.

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The remote control comes with a pre-installed 3V CR2450 button battery. If replacement is needed, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the remote cover by sliding it downwards in the direction of the arrow.
  2. Carefully remove the old CR2450 battery.
  3. Insert the new 3V CR2450 button battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the back cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

4.2. Wall Mounting

The remote control includes a back holder for convenient wall mounting. After installation, you can easily hang the remote control on the wall for easy access.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Shade Control

Use the primary buttons to control your motorized shades:

  • UP button (▲): Raises the shade.
  • DOWN button (▼): Lowers the shade.
  • STOP button (−): Stops the shade at its current position.

5.2. Channel Selection (DC2702 - 15 Channel Controller)

The DC2702 allows you to control up to 15 individual shades or groups of shades. Use the P1- and P1+ buttons to cycle through the channels. The selected channel number will be displayed on the LED screen. Once the desired channel is selected, use the UP, DOWN, and STOP buttons to control the corresponding shade(s).

5.3. Pairing with Motorized Shades

The pairing process typically involves a specific sequence of button presses on both the remote and the shade motor. Refer to your motorized shade's instruction manual for detailed pairing instructions. Generally, it involves:

  1. Putting the shade motor into pairing mode (often by pressing a button on the motor itself).
  2. Pressing a specific button or sequence on the remote control to send the pairing signal.

Note: This remote is a universal controller for shade motors. Ensure the shape and frequency (433.92MHz) are compatible if replacing with other brands, otherwise it may not work or pair.

6. Maintenance

The primary maintenance for your remote control is battery replacement. Refer to Section 4.1 for detailed instructions on how to replace the 3V CR2450 button battery. Clean the remote with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Remote not responding: Check the battery. Replace if necessary (see Section 4.1). Ensure you are within the operating range (up to 115 feet indoors, 655 feet in open field).
  • Shades not moving: Verify the remote is paired correctly with the shade motor. Check the shade motor's power supply.
  • 15-channel remote not controlling the correct shade: Ensure you have selected the correct channel using the P1- and P1+ buttons.
  • Interference: If experiencing intermittent control, ensure there are no strong RF interference sources nearby.
