Note: This product does not include a front camera or DVR function. It supports a rear camera (optional).

Important: Some Samsung phone models may not be compatible with Android Auto. Please verify compatibility before purchase.

Setup

Installation Method

The device can be installed using either a vertical stand or a suction cup stand, depending on your preference and vehicle's dashboard configuration. Ensure the mount is securely attached and does not obstruct your view or interfere with vehicle controls.

Wiring Instructions

The product is powered via a cigarette lighter plug. Connect the power cord to your car's cigarette lighter socket. If you are not using the original charger, ensure you use a compliant, high-quality cigarette charger to prevent damage to the device or other injuries due to insufficient voltage or heat.

Port Overview

The device features several ports for connectivity:

  • AUX: Audio input/output.
  • TF card: For media storage.
  • AV IN: Audio/Video input, typically for a rear camera.

Operating Instructions

Wireless CarPlay Connection

To use Wireless CarPlay:

  1. Click the [Apple CarPlay] button on the device interface.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
  3. Select the [Wireless CarPlay] option on the device.
  4. Click the [BT Manage] option on the interface.
  5. Connect your phone via Bluetooth.
  6. Open the CarPlay application on your phone.

The device will attempt to automatically connect to the last connected phone when powered on.

Wireless Android Auto Connection

To use Wireless Android Auto:

  1. Click the [Android Auto] button on the device interface.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
  3. Select the [Wireless Android Auto] option on the device.
  4. Click the [BT Manage] option on the interface.
  5. Connect your phone via Bluetooth.
  6. Open the Android Auto application on your phone.

The device will attempt to automatically connect to the last connected phone when powered on.

Mirror Link (AirPlay / Auto Link)

The Mirror Link feature allows you to mirror your phone's screen to the car display. This mode does not support Bluetooth music functionality.

For Android phones:

  1. Select the "Mirror Cast" option on the device.
  2. Download and install the "TCLink" application on your Android phone.
  3. Select "WIFI Direct" connection mode and connect to the device (e.g., CARLINK-154E30).

FM Transmitter

The FM Transmitter allows you to transmit the audio from the device to your original car audio system via FM radio. This is useful if your car does not have an AUX input.

  1. Click the 'Open device' button.
  2. Select the desired frequency band to be emitted (e.g., FM 106.0 MHz).
  3. Adjust your car radio to the same acceptance band (e.g., FM 106.0 MHz).

Once the FM launch connection is successful, all sounds from the device will be sent to your original car speakers.

Bluetooth Music and Phone Calls

The device features wireless Bluetooth connectivity. You can connect your mobile phone via Bluetooth to play music and make/receive phone calls directly through the smart screen.

The device supports fixed command voice control to help you drive safer. You can use voice commands for functions such as:

  • "Turn on display"
  • "Show rear camera"

Rear View Camera (Optional)

If you choose to install an optional rear view camera, the device will automatically switch to the camera display when the car is put into reverse gear, enhancing driving safety.

Screen Settings

The device offers various screen settings for customization:

  • Screen save: Options to turn off the screen after 1 minute or 5 minutes.
  • Wallpaper: Support for custom wallpapers.
  • Language: Supports multiple languages including English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and Korean.
  • Reset: Option to reset the device to factory settings.
  • Firmware version: Displays current firmware information.

User Tips

  • For optimal performance with Android Auto, ensure your Android phone's operating system is up-to-date and check for any known compatibility issues with specific phone models (e.g., some Samsung models).
  • When using the FM Transmitter, select a clear FM frequency that is not in use by local radio stations to avoid interference and ensure clear audio.
  • Regularly check for firmware updates to ensure your device has the latest features and bug fixes.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the device. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the screen or finish.
  • Temperature: Operate the device within the specified operating temperature range of -4°F to 149°F (-20°C to 65°C). Extreme temperatures can affect performance and lifespan.

Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the cigarette lighter plug is fully inserted and the car's power outlet is functioning. Check the power cord for any damage.
  • No Sound: Verify that the volume is turned up on both the device and your car's audio system. If using FM transmission, ensure the device and car radio are tuned to the same frequency. If using AUX, ensure the AUX cable is properly connected.
  • Connectivity Issues (CarPlay/Android Auto/Mirror Link): Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone and the device. Try restarting both the phone and the device. For Mirror Link, confirm the correct app is installed on your Android phone.
  • Unresponsive Touchscreen: Try restarting the device. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset (note: this will erase custom settings).
  • Rear Camera Not Displaying: Ensure the optional rear camera is correctly installed and connected to the AV IN port. Check the camera's power supply.
