Setup and Assembly
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure all components are present: main unit, water tank, filter tray, pump, carbon filter, and power adapter.
- Rinse Components: Wash the water tank, filter tray, and pump thoroughly with clean water before first use. Do not wash the main unit with electronic components.
- Install Pump: Place the water pump securely in its designated slot within the water tank or filter tray, ensuring the power cord is routed correctly.
- Insert Filter: Place the carbon filter into the filter tray. Ensure it is properly seated.
- Assemble Tray: Place the filter tray onto the water tank.
- Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with clean water up to the maximum fill line (3 liters capacity).
- Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the dispenser and then plug it into a suitable power outlet.

Operating Modes
The PawHut Automatic Pet Water Fountain offers three distinct operating modes to suit your pet's needs:
- Induction Mode: Water dispenses automatically when the infrared sensor detects a pet within 1 meter and a 90-degree angle. The purple LED light will be continuously on in this mode.
- Standard Mode: Water flows continuously, providing a constant supply for your pets. The blue LED light will be continuously on in this mode.
- Inactivity Mode: This mode is typically a standby or low-power state. The purple LED light will blink to indicate this mode.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygiene of your pet water fountain.
- Water Refill: The 3-liter capacity reduces frequent refills, but always ensure the water level is adequate. The dispenser features a water shortage reminder.
- Filter Replacement: The carbon filter should be replaced regularly to maintain water purity. The dispenser includes a carbon filter replacement reminder. Refer to the indicator lights for timing.
- Cleaning:
- Disconnect the power adapter before cleaning.
- Disassemble the filter tray, pump, and water tank.
- Wash all parts (except the main unit with electronics) with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Clean the pump impeller and housing to prevent mineral buildup.
- Reassemble all components once clean and dry.

Troubleshooting
- No Water Flow:
- Check if the power adapter is securely plugged in.
- Ensure the water tank has sufficient water. The water shortage reminder LED will indicate low water.
- Clean the pump and check for any obstructions in the impeller or tubing.
- LED Indicator for Filter Replacement: If the filter replacement LED is active, replace the carbon filter as soon as possible to ensure optimal water quality.
- Infrared Sensor Not Responding: Ensure the sensor is clean and unobstructed. Check if the pet is within the 1-meter, 90-degree detection range.
