5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your DT-6507 electronic watch:
- Cleaning: Wipe the mirror display and plastic case with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the surface.
- Environment: Keep the clock away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the AAA backup batteries periodically (e.g., once a year) to ensure settings are retained during power interruptions.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Time Resets After Power Loss
If the time and settings reset every time the clock is disconnected from power, ensure that 3 AAA backup batteries are correctly installed in the battery compartment. These batteries are crucial for retaining settings when the main USB power is interrupted.
6.2 Display Not Working
Check if the USB power cable is securely connected to both the clock and the power adapter, and that the adapter is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
