Basic Care

• Never remove housing covers or modify the product in any way. This may cause electric shock or damage which would void the warranty.
• Immediately disconnect the unit if you notice any smoke emitting from inside, a burning smell or if the unit makes strange noises and contact ZZ-2 tech support.
• Do not allow the unit to come in contact with liquids. Liquid in the housing may cause a fire, electric shock or damage to the device. Immediately remove power from the unit if and object or liquid falls into it.
• The product warranty does not cover damage caused be drops, liquids or misuse. The warranty only covers manufacturer defects.

CarPlay / Android Auto Connection

1. Tap to connect CarPlay.
   • For wired connection, simply connect a USB cable to the phone, connect the free end to the USB port.
   • For wireless connection, verify WIFI is ON and connect to the radio via Bluetooth. The WIFI connection for CarPlay will connect automatically shortly thereafter.
   
2. Tap to connect Android Auto.
   • For wired connection, simply connect a USB cable to the phone, connect the free end to the USB port.
   • For wireless connection, verify WIFI is ON and connect to the radio via Bluetooth. The WIFI connection for Android Auto will connect automatically shortly thereafter. A confirmation message may appear, tap ‘Connect’. If Android Auto does not start automatically, return to the main menuand access the ‘Linked Phone > Android Auto’ Option again.

Smartphone Mirroring

1. Tap to Mirror iPhone.
   • Connect the USB cable from the iPhone to the (lower) USB port on the radio. On the iPhone, tap ‘trust’. Unlock phone and mirroring should begin automatically.
   
2. Tap to connect.
   • Connect USB cable to Android phone. On first access, it is required to install and configure the mirroring application. Follow steps below:

A notification will appear on the phone screen directing you to download an application. Download and install the recommended application. After the app is installed, open it.

In the list of applications, locate the ‘Mirroring’ app and activate it. Disconnect the USB cable, access the mirroring connection menu again and then reconnect the USB cable.

Check the option to ‘Always open the mirroring app when mirroring suite is connected’ choice. Tap ‘Start now’ and the phone will be mirrored on the radio screen.

1. To access video input, tap ‘AV-IN’ from the main menu.

Steering Wheel Configuration

After properly connecting the steering wheel control wires, press the desired button on the steering wheel, then touch the corresponding function on the screen. Repeat this step until all commands have been programmed, then tap ‘confirm’.
